holy molly the new frickbear update is freaking insane, the amount of new content and how much replayable the game is now just baffles me. probably actually one of the best roguelikes out there outside of being a fnaf fan-game. also mary schmidt is peak character

day 23: fave scary theme youtu.be/ZDdBZtWIPU0 probably the entirety of black space in omori is one of the most unsettling and scarily designed places, making pretty much all of it's tracks insanely unnerving, but if i had to pick the scariest one, it would be this.

ngl kinda feels like the worst ludum dare ever since i joined the amount of ai stuff is just genuinely making me lose motivation to look through games and try to guess "is this ai or not" rather than just play and be impressed how much people can do within 3 days really sad to see it go like that

just finished Foole's World, what an honestly great, kinda relaxing and captivating short game. it's kinda like pmd intro quiz, but an entire game themed around it and i love it. interesting story, great music, stylish art. i am the moon. store.steampowered.com/app/5134970/... (it's free btw)

day 7: favorite night theme the music in slime rancher is incredibly relaxing and chilling, nightly exploration tracks especially, so to ruins at night it goes youtu.be/Dsy5q4HyVNw

day 6: fave town theme this shall go to Possum Springs of Night In The Woods youtu.be/_3e0l-6aCOI probably one of the most influential games to me with growing up, especially as someone moving a lot and returning to places that were once home to me

day 5: favorite character theme youtu.be/EmzlWYOuPPo PSMD's partner is probably one of the best developed characters to me, hearing their motif through the entire game and multiple songs really set that this isn't the story about the main character, but rather the partner.

day 4: fave main motif this shall probably go to the Freedom motif that appears in secret deltarune bosses www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z01T... can't really give much of an explanation for it, it's just great and become one of the most recognizable ones for me in the game and generally in memes/remixes

day 3: fave regular battle theme well this kinda stretches the definition of a regular battle theme as it kinda plays through the whole level (altering between calm and fight versions), but i would probably go with In Absentia ΛΟΓΟΣ - Ultrakill youtu.be/QDYUiCPLtxk

day 1: favorite title theme thought about it so hard i fell asleep, really hard pick as there's a lot of them i like but i would probably go for OneShot - My Burden Is Light youtu.be/CfLJRtdZu7w it's hard to describe it without spoiling it's significance to the entire game, but it made me tear up
