Football photos that take your breath away. Khadija 'Bunny' Shaw posted this photo of herself with Ronaldo Nazário on Instagram, along with other pictures from the 2026 Ballon d'Or ceremony, where she placed third in the selection for the Women's Ballon d'Or.

One of the fun things to see during the Halifax Tides' season was how head coach Stephen Hart utilised Naya Cardoza. The 21-year-old Jamaican rookie is a central defender, but Hart played her as a forward on a few occasions. Today, he started her in defence but moved her up front late in the game.

Naya Cardoza almost scoring in the final minutes after sustained pressure against Toronto, which would have earned the Halifax Tides a 2-1 win and a play-off spot, pretty much sums up most of the Tides' season. Not scoring enough to win. Watching them was fun, and frustrating, in 2026.

A beautiful assist from midfielder Nikayla Small for Kaylee Hunter, who gives AFC Toronto a 1-0 lead over the Halifax Tides. I'm still confused as to why Small wasn't called up for the Reggae Girlz during the recent international window.

A hat-trick from from Reggae Girlz striker Kayla McKenna helped book a quarter-final spot for Grasshopper Women in the Swiss Women's Cup, after they beat FC Thun 5-1 in the round of 16.

I've been saying this for years. Whenever players target her, Bunny gets no protection from the refs. Kudos to her for being calm about it on most occasions. But yesterday's derby was out of control and she was rightly upset about it. Shocking officiating from the imposter in the referee uniform.

These pesky Boston Legacy kids running around spoiling San Diego's plans, man.

Jamaica's Solai Washington scored her second goal this season for the Orlando Pride, one week after scoring her first. And a week before that, she scored her first for Jamaica. She's on a roll!

Bunny locking eyes with the ref. Bunny edging right up into her personal space. Bunny listening without saying a word and then giving her a look of contempt as she jogs off. I'm watching this on repeat and loving it more each time 😅

A derby goal on her 100th appearance for Manchester City. The first player to score in each of her first six WSL starts of the season. 91 WSL goals in 100 WSL appearances. One Bunny Shaw.

Kiki Van Zanten with the assist, delivering it right in front of Clarissa Larisey's toes for the Houston Dash's third goal of the game against Chicago.

When you're a Jamaican-Italian watching the Azzurre's Lisa Boattin get an assist for the Houston Dash and then seeing the Reggae Girlz' Kiki Van Zanten get one as well.

The Chicago Stars band in the stands should be playing 'wah wah waaaah' at this point. Hopefully this team can turn things around next season.

Congrats to Reggae Girl Mimi Van Zanten on her contract extension with the San Diego Wave. Well deserved.

I've come away from the weekend appreciating that 21-year-old Savy King is more savvy in the dark arts than we know.

Back from duty with the Reggae Girlz, Kayla McKenna scored for Grasshopper Club Zurich in a 3-2 loss to YB Frauen in the Swiss Women's Super League. It was the Jamaican striker's seventh goal of the season.

Congrats to Reanna Blades! The 22-year-old Jamaican forward scored a goal and provided an assist on her first start for Portsmouth Women in their 6-3 win against Cheltenham. Not something you see every day!

Jamaica's Shaneil Buckley picked up an assist on Florida State's second goal in their game against the Panthers, sealing a 2-1 win.

Solai Washington scored her first NWSL goal to give the Orlando Pride a 2-0 lead over the Houston Dash. Earlier she won the penalty for the first goal. She has absolutely dominated this game so far. And by the way, she scored her first goal for Jamaica last week.

Luana gives Orlando the lead from the penalty spot. 1-0.

Solai Washington wins a penalty for the Orlando Pride.

Kiki Van Zanten starts for the Houston Dash while Solai Washington starts for the Orlando Pride. The two Reggae Girlz will face each other after both scoring for Jamaica in the recent international break.

It's obvious Vivianne Miedema studied at the Guardiola School of post-match Pep talks.

A Khadija Shaw brace and Player of the Match performance against Brighton today in City's 3-2 win. G'waan, Bunny!

Wishing Chantelle Swaby the strength and support she needs for her recovery. The Jamaican defender suffered an injury to her right Achilles while playing for the Reggae Girlz in their recent match against Mexico. Should Jamaica qualify for next year's World Cup, her participation would be in doubt.

Good to see Bunny Shaw back in training for Manchester City after she was physically battered in the Reggae Girlz' game against Mexico.

Ecuadorian side Dragonas IDV played their opening game of this year's Copa Libertadores Feminina drawing 1-1 with Argentina's Belgrano De Cordoba. IDV (Independiente Del Valle) is a team I've been following for years on the men's side of things. Curious to see how the women perform in the tournament

And now for that old checking yourself for blood after a foul routine. All the tricks of the trade coming out today 😀

Watching Dragonas IDV against Belgrano de Cordoba in the Copa Libertadores Feminina. Two players collide. Their heads don't come into contact with each other. But they both go down clutching their heads. Tell me you play in CONMEBOL without telling me you play in CONMEBOL.

Kiki Van Zanten scored the Reggae Girlz' lone goal in a 3-1 loss to Mexico, and it was a worldie from the edge of the box.

The biggest negative was Chantelle Swaby's injury. She went down unchallenged and seemed to be in a lot of pain. The defender was taken off on a stretcher aboard a medical vehicle. Her sister Allyson was substituted minutes later. Earlier, Mexico's first goal had come via an own goal by Chantelle.

After beating Mexico 4-3 last week, the Reggae Girlz lost 3-1 in their second encounter with El Tri. There were positives as we remained competitive despite resting Bunny Shaw and playing a weaker starting 11. We also created several chances that would have changed the game had we put them away.

Funny how some players act like Shaggy singing 'It Wasn't Me' even when they were obviously hair-pulling and it was caught on camera in 4K. Del Castillo, Vinicius Jr, and then Katie McCabe last season who said it wasn't on purpose. Shameless gaslighters 😅.

According to Sofascore, Bunny Shaw's ball-carrying against Mexico was a constant outlet for the Reggae Girlz, "with 11 ball carries and 104.1 metres of progressive distance, including a best single carry of 36.1 metres."

This goal by the Reggae Girlz against Mexico came after 33 passes. In the end, Chelsea goalkeeper Becky Spencer launched the ball to San Diego Wave right-back Mimi Van Zanten. She dribbled into the box and passed it to Kayla McKenna, who touched it on to Orlando Pride's Solai Washington for the goal

Bunny Shaw's goal for the Reggae Girlz against Mexico, made possible by Drew Spence stealing the ball from a Mexican player in midfield, and carrying it straight down the pitch before passing it to Bunny for the goal.

The Reggae Girlz opened the scoring against Mexico with this goal from Jody Brown. Look at the work from Bunny Shaw, collecting the ball in her own half and carrying it into the final third before passing it to Paige Bailey-Gayle, who delivers it to Jody for the tap-in.

The Reggae Girlz' goals in their win over Mexico came from Jody Brown (Marseille), Bunny Shaw (Manchester City), Deneisha Blackwood (Toluca), and Solai Washington (Orlando Pride). Mexico's goals came from Lizbeth Ovalle (Orlando Pride), Rebeca Bernal (Manchester United), and Charlyn Corral (Pachuca)

The Reggae Girlz have beaten Mexico 4-3.

Mexico scores. It's 4-3 now to Jamaica. Maybe Mexico haven't lost this just yet.

Solai Washington makes it 4-2 for Jamaica. Mexico has lost this one.

Mexico pulls another goal back to reduce Jamaica to a 3-2 lead.

Deneisha Blackwood scores from the penalty spot to make it 3-1 for the Reggae Girlz against Mexico.

Bunny has gone down in a lot of pain. Worrying moment.

Bunny Shaw makes it 2-0 for the Reggae Girlz against Mexico.

Jody Brown makes it 1-0 for the Reggae Girlz against Mexico.
