Mass Effect was my ultimate white whale, my all-time dream project. For the last couple years I'd been in discussion w/ BioWare & EA to take on the project & as part of that I wrote close to 20 minutes of music to explore where the franchise can go next, may as well share it!

We started getting our first mates applications the night we launched this, and even beyond applications we've had loads of support (and compliments 💚) Why not treat yourself to some dev help from some proven tools/engine/systems sickos from down under? We're so keen to help you make your vision 🙃

We're happy to work on most things, but we're especially skilled at: • Systems programming • Pipelines • Engine and porting work • Narrative integration Across a range of engines and platforms. And we do a lot of non-code work too. We are, after all, a game studio first—for nearly 20 years now! 💪

We know that this isn't in budget for everyone, and it doesn't solve everyone's problems, but it's something we can do TODAY to make game dev a little bit easier for some mates - existing or new. So let's do that! 💚

This is not our first rodeo. We've run our own successful indie studio for nearly 20 years now. And since recently adding co-dev to our repertoire, we've done some great work with small and medium teams! 🌟

Inspired by the great @kenney.nl, if you've been hit with one of the horrendous #gamedev #layoffs, we'd love to give you things. Offer ends when form is closed. 💚 lab.to/YSClaim

all these people looking back on the constructive new hobbies they developed during the COVID lockdown era but we just sat on Discord together the whole time and played 800 hours of Sea of Thieves 😐

This is like the time someone sent us a dialogue tool that apologised for "not being without sin" and said if you want that, use Yarn Spinner.

Tip Of My Tongue: A comic about being a creative. Comic of simple uncoloured figures goes like: You can see everything it could have been (artist imagining rainbow cloud), but others see what it is (artist chucks boxlike thing they made at person, who opens it and wows at the rainbow that emerges)

Sometimes we’re unsatisfied with a thing we made because when it only existed in our head, we saw all the things it could have been and when it’s done we know all the things that it isn’t, but we can’t see the way it expands into a million new things when someone else unpacks it in their head. 🖊️🦑

Already identified like 40 YS titles in the current Next Fest before even looking too hard. And of all of those games, only two have AI disclosures. Way to stand against the recent SlopFest phenomenon, devs. Proud of you 💚

Already shaping up to be a sick next fest. What a treat.

Don't let billionaires convince you slop is the future. They're used to managing & directing, not making things themselves. Of course they can't see the difference. They don't understand your love for the craft. Keep making personal, beautiful games. You've got my support 💖

In about ~17 hours at @roguelike.club, I’ll be talking about Hint Line ‘93! I’ll also share my tiny little @yarnspinner.dev based #roguelike, which you can see here: try.yarnspinner.dev/sample/rogue... It’s designed for you to see how Yarn Spinner works, so you can build your own silly things.

Ring Ring! Hint please? @hey.paris will talk us through the process of building Hint Line '93 in "Please Hold: Building a Playable Museum Exhibit About 1993 Game Support". This talk is going to make me want to visit Melbourne just for this museum exhibit, I can tell.
