Kyle | He/Him | Working on TTRPGs and writing articles

Hello! It's me Technomancer Kyle, or YFTechno on places like discord and such. I make games under a company named Twisted Crystal Games, write articles, and even have services to help others with their projects. Nice to meet you! You can find all my stuff on my ko-fi! https://ko-fi.com/yftechno

Today is the day I normally go out to get groceries, but I have not been able to get enough commissions sold to really get anything I normally would. Life is tough rn. ko-fi.com/yftechno

I know, I am sounding desperate; I am just scared and don't know what to do. I'm trying to go through my things that I could sell, just not exactly finding anything great.

My bank is now in the negative, and I'm scared. Any help would be appreciated.

Fuck, my bank account is negative now, and I don't know how to process what to do right now. Hopefully I can figure things out soon.

Got a project where you could use some help? Be it in marketing, web development, or game design, hit me up! ko-fi.com/yftechno/com... I am in need of cast to pay for groceries and pay bill this week; and I got a discount going on.

Hey all! A little while ago, I left a job that was toxic as hell; and I got another job! The problem is that I don't have enough money to cover bills and groceries until payday. I need help. If you can check out and share my ko-fi that would be amazing! Thank you! ko-fi.com/yftechno

RPG Trader has a spooky season bundle. If you have $25 and want to support loads of creators (like me), jump on in! rpgtrader.com/products/972...

HEYA! I got a new job (yay), but my old boss is holding TWO paychecks instead of one, and I won't get them until Friday. Because of that, and because I went on a planned trip for a wedding, I'm in a bit of a financial mess. I would love your support! ko-fi.com/yftechno/goa...

So, life update: I quit my job because of a not-so-great situation. I am hopeful about jobs and gigs on the horizon, but you can check me out. Before that, perhaps read my latest game dev blog, where I share some of my latest conversions for Big Campaign Podcast. ko-fi.com/post/Dev-Dia...

Oh, lookie here, I made something (for a game jam)!~ Itch Link: twistedcrystalgames.itch.io/that-which-s... RPG-Trader Link: rpg-trader.com/products/912...

Any graphic artists who can do character sheets for a TTRPG? Especially if you can make them look good as a fillable PDF form? I am looking around.

A new month, and a new game dev diary! We are so back. ko-fi.com/Post/Dev-Dia... In this one, I focus hardcore on my excitement for doing the new project with Big Campaign Podcast

I swear I am alive! Yesterday was my birthday, which was cool. But god, I am 34 now.

So, our #pathfinder2e group just lost our DM due to plans changing, alas. So we're #lfg & hoping to find a new PF2e DM for our orphaned group every 2nd Sunday 8pmBST/12pmPST. RP heavy, LGBT+, homebrew preferred, PCs already made & imprinted on. LMK if interested <3 #pf2e #dnd

I got my stuff on there as of last night, and didn't realize there was a grand opening sale. It's kinda cool, lol.

A quick reminder to everyone: RPG Trader’s Grand Opening Sale is almost over! You have until 15 June at midnight UTC to enjoy 20% off. If there’s something on your wishlist, now’s the perfect time to pick it up at the sale price. Thanks for all the support so far, and happy gaming! 🎲

Oh, would you look at that, I made the first dev diary of mine in like 8 months. Someone, be proud of me... ko-fi.com/post/Dev-Dia...

WOAH IT'S STARTING! itch.io/jam/2026-str... #streetgrim26

I can't wait until Street Grimoire Jam. It's going to be a blast seeing what gets made this year. itch.io/jam/2026-str... #streetgrim26

The optional themes for the 2025 Street Grimoire Creative Jam have been announced. The jam starts in 14 days. I'm excited!~ OPTIONAL THEMES: - Hidden Figures - Lacerated Souls - Starlit Stories - Sewer Dragons - Generic Artifacts itch.io/jam/2026-str... #streetgrim26

HEY! Are you a creative in TTRPGs, Art, Music, or Video Games? I am doing the Street Grimoire Jam again this year, an annual creative jam focused on modern-day science-fantasy settings. You can submit any type of creative work (though keep gen AI out of it). itch.io/jam/2026-str... #streetgrim26

Looking for a chance to make something new and with cool people? Why not join a game jam? I am hosting one called Street Grimoire Jam. I accept not only TTRPGs and video games but anything inspired by modern-day settings and fantasy/science fiction elements. itch.io/jam/2026-str...

Man, I am getting worried about not getting another job sooner than later. It's bothering me lots.

I just applied to that Gen Con position, here's hoping that I at least get an interview.

Man, I can't find any good jobs to apply for on LinkedIn today. Where do other people find jobs?

While I will be working on updating a few other projects, I am also considering to learn Godot.

Slowly (ok, not that slowly), I am going to be getting back into development. First was correcting a game jam TTRPG with a bit more editing pass, and putting on the cover I meant to put on. twistedcrystalgames.itch.io/dubious-dest...

Well, I lost my job, so you'll probably be seeing more of me on here... You have been warned.

My first itch-funding project, an adventure using my TTRPG system, NovArchaic. I would appreciate some support. twistedcrystalgames.itch.io/ophidian-gam...

So, remember that post I was about to write about doing something funny? Well... NovArchaic is now on a podcast for a special 2-episode run, thanks to the excellent Clash of Krits. It would mean a lot for people to check it out (and their amazing things). open.spotify.com/episode/7iUQ...

Heya, what are we up to on this saturday?

Me on the way to do something funny...

Hello everyone, our 14 year old dog Kia is in a dire need of a surgery to remove one her breasts. She has a tumor that we treated with medication, but she keeps licking it (even with the cone of shame 😭). So now it's inflamed...

Help my friend out, if you can. She is a great person and in a tight spot. If you can share, like the post to help the post the spread, that would be amazing as well.
