The other reason why popularism is the Democratic Way is that most American left elites are actually libertarians or moderate conservatives. They don't want large welfare spending, restrictions on police misconduct, high taxes on corporate robber barons, or free healthcare and college....

Why do we keep electing people to office who act like they are powerless to do anything about corruption? Adam Schiff is posting "Trump is wasting your governement dollars" as if we're the ones who are making $174,000 a year to do something about it.

With Lindsay Graham, and (eventually) Mitch McConnell's passing, democratic members of the House and Senate will talk about how he was a colleague, some might even call them friends, and therein lies the problem. Dem leadership sees Graham and McConnell as friends, not enemies of the republic.

Most of what we call "AI" is the equivalent of that person who always insists on interrupt you when you're telling a story, and then you have to go back and correct what they inserted. "So I was going to-," "The movies. Yeah me, too. I saw" "No, the bank." "You made a withdrawal, too" "No."

I really wish some one would fund a billboard campaign along every highway in America that says, "You struggle to pay your fare share of taxes, why should big businesses not have to?

Meanwhile, the typical American will pay a federal income tax rate of 14.5% This is what a rigged system looks like. [Via @itep.org]

I was sexually harassed/assaulted by my roommate, in front of my other roommates, and when I asked if they would support me if I brought charges, they said no. Remember this when you ask why it took them so long to come forward.

Embracing diversity doesn't mean filling quotas. It means creating an environment where a disabled worker has to do as little thinking about how they are going to get around the office as an able bodied one. It means POCs don't FEEL like they are a diversity hire. It means centering otherwise

ostracized voices in the conversation, and making sure that womens voices aren't over run in conversations. If a POC, woman, or disabled person is keenly aware that they are the odd man out every time they speak or offer a suggestion, your work place doesn't embrace diversity, it embraces tokenism.

Every time someone says that [fill in brown country here] is full of greedy, war mongering people who institute religious regimes that are harmful to minorities, I am reminded that there have only been 29 years in our nation's history where we were not at war with another country.

This is why racism is a cancer. They have been perfecting this for years, and black people saw it, and warned people, but because we (black people) were the targets it was ignored. You don’t Trump overnight, you set the infrastructure in place using a Trojan Horse dog whistles.

Dam been writing a book about this and she just TikToked it in 90 seconds.

And this is exactly why we should never placate the right wing. They don’t care about facts or reality, they care about spreading hate, and every time a liberal/leftist/Dem says we should be “divisive” while they’re dividing the country up just helps the right wing win.

I can think of no more just outcome than for Charlie Kirk to be swiftly forgotten by his so-called friends because the person who killed him didn't make him as useful a tool in death as he was in life.

Buckle Up, you’re about to see a lot of right leaning Democrats condemn the actions of a man who would sooner tell his listeners and followers to kill them, then he would agree with them, and not because he believes what he’s saying, but because he knows if he says it, it makes money.

The problems in this country didn’t begin with Trump, and they won’t end with him either. Unless we are willing to actually look at truth and respond accordingly, we will remain fractured as a country. Charlie Kirk is an example of the very rhetoric that costs people their lives.
