I wasn’t so excited with a witch anime since Little Witch Academia and the adaptation by Colorido was stellar, the music amazing, incredible direction, all my praise to the team for making such a incredible job for a limited series.

The new season of Edgerunners is sacrificing a more personal story that characterized season 1 by having the most experimental visuals from a Trigger anime. Fair trade I guess.

Its weird, since I decided to move back to Chile, I’ve been feeling more motivated. Something that keeps me going is when I asked my friend if he’s watching the new season of Bleach, and he tells me: “No, I’m waiting for you to watch it together” 🥹❤️

The reaction to the latest Helluva Boss episode tells me that people needs adult friends in their lives. That is exactly what happens when theres no communication. The only thing I could be mad at Stolas is giving strangers the address of the place he’s crashing when he Knows Blitz has a daughter.

I love that clip from Hexed came out just in time for KoG made a point about “princess movie dialogue”, pointing out the exact same issue with the repetitive formula of modern Disney protagonists. Serious dialogue followed by a quip to defuse the situation.

My main issue with Daemons of the Shadow Realm is that I feel they are delivering the same information four times without giving me a reason to be worried about. The parents disappeared, the bad guys want the twins to “control the world” whatever that means. And the Tsugai are just glorified pokemon

20 episodes just to introduce the concepts and not even the stakes is not efficient. I trust Arakawa, damn, she basically created one of the best stories ever told about the pain and reward of living, so I’m giving her a chance, but this story moves so slowly.

I’m watching it mostly for Right, I love that big oaf. It’s frustrating that the Tsugai are mostly background characters without dialogues or importance outside fighting and the occasional comedy.

I have a pet peeve about animators… When they do personal work or a test of their skills, even using a funny audio as a base, when they add a meme at the end of the sequence as a “punchline”. I fucking hate that, let the joke work by itself 😭

I love the new approach I like to call “Silent Hill world tour”, with SH Japan and SH Scotland. Hope Chile gets a Silent Hill too, but our historical collective nightmare was the dictatorship so, I guess that would be the timeline and theme.

I would joke about “Silent Hill America” but the past 7 games of SH were in literal Silent Hill, Maine. And they were about cults, military trauma, Closed apartment buildings, and the prison industrial complex, so… yeah, regular America.
