Excellent demonstration of how a ploughed field transformed into a forest in 50 years with no tree planting and at zero cost. This should always be the priority for forest creation whether for nature or commercial timber* youtube.com/watch?v=km32...

Willow tree reflections, the other morning on a flooded Somerset Levels, just outside Glastonbury

I don't know who needs to hear this, but if all you accomplish this weekend is reading a riveting novel cover-to-cover whilst drinking multiple kettles of tea and consuming a scandalous amount of croissants, then you will have accomplished more than enough.

Bluesky tip for newbies: Bluesky has no real algorithm. Likes here do nothing but show the poster that you enjoyed their content. That kindness is always going to be appreciated by creators, but if you want to help to boost something here, you have to repost it so others see it. 🙂

How to take part in Wildflower Hour which is EVERY Sunday 8-9pm. During the week find an open flower (wild or naturalised, not planted) from anywhere across Britain & Ireland & share on Sunday evening using #wildflowerhour! Fancy an extra challenge? See if you can find ten blooms for #thewinter10!

Little more shameless self promotion: my one and only book

Part 2 of this is me: I’m an artist, watercolour and artists pencils, sometimes together, sometimes not. I am a Druid having trained with OBOD. I’m a dowser - Earth and human energy I love to travel.

Ok so I’m retired from being a shamanic and energy healer, as if you ever retire from that. I have a book ‘Web of Life’ published by Moon Books as part of their Shamanic Pathways series (excuse the shameless plug) and used to write a column for Indie Shaman.

Just found my way here from the other place. Stumbling around finding out how things work 👋
