I really can't stand theophite, I got him blocked on here and people are posting screenshots of his takes. Look sometimes a guy had a banger tweet once that doesn't make him an expert on everything

Get in loser we’re doing height discourse

lauren@lauren.rotatingsandwiches.com

telling guys a shade under 6 feet that they're tall is like finding the spot on a dog's leg to rub that makes them go crazy. instant loyalty

Fascism is doomed to fail because it cannot solve any of the problems it purports to fix. Every where it’s been tried the results are catastrophic. But there is something about it that just draw people. Moths to a flame I guess

I read the country music article and it’s so much dumber than I expected. The thesis: people are into rural white culture because mainstream culture is stifling. Supporting evidence: country music produces hits and there is population growth in the sun belt

BLS this morning, with revised 2Q data: "The labor share, which is the percentage of output that accrues to workers in the form of compensation, was 52.8 percent in the second quarter of 2026, the lowest level in the series, which begins in the first quarter of 1947."

I’m really wondering what’s going to happen when people discover that sure you can vibe code an app, but you still have to maintain it and oh no you’re a software engineer now

Boo!-per Lund@cooperlund.online

I needed an app to do a seating chart and hot desk reservations this month, and instead of looking for enterprise SaaS software and talking to a sales rep, I wrote sentences to something on my computer and it built me one for effectively free. Why wouldn’t SV think everyone was just as vulnerable?

Devs we need to all have a certain level of self respect: this obviously will not and cannot work, it’s just bullshit so call it like it is

Meta will begin keystroke logging US employees at work -- complete with mouse movements and periodic screenshots -- to train better AI agents. This comes after Boz posted about a future in which AI will "primarily do the work" at meta. It's a new era for tech labor. www.reuters.com/sustainabili...

It's me, I'm the mouse

going on 36 hours awake because every airplane seat was designed for tiny little mice. little cartoon mice curled up on a bag of peanuts and using their boarding pass as a blankie. all dragging a big steamer trunk behind them and shouting “oh boy!” when the plane takes off. unfortunately I am 6’3”

A lot of people don’t know this but the best way to use bluesky is find a big account you like and follow them obsessively. Then when they post something you disagree with or don’t like have a complete meltdown

I keep saying to people that if you have 50% structural unemployment the result isn’t that your ai company makes you rich it’s your headless body being dragged through the streets

This post is unavailable.

That’s right, the broad left should prepare a plan for a disruption to all of the world‘s labor market resulting in 40% structural unemployment. Get real random leftists!

I'm not even saying that's the most *likely* possibility, but it's just very clear that the likelihood of that outcome as increased and even if there's, like, a 1 in 10 change that "AI replaces most to all white collar jobs in 10 years" that's an *enormous* risk to the social order!
