Yesterday was a wild 15hr day for many of us. Most of us did our 8hr+ shifts then gathered at the banquet hall to celebrate LiveWorkPlay’s 30 anniversary. liveworkplay.ca/about/ More pics to follow but here is a group shot of employment & community staff, volunteers, employers and people we support.

I had a burst of energy after work and decided to make 5L of Turkey & Vegetable soup. Recipe; Use the bones to boil two pots of homemade broth, season it with onions & herbs. For each pot add: 2 cups each of turkey, carrots, rutabaga, & potatoes. One bunch of green onions and one tomato #foodie 🍽️

Today I used some leftovers to make a giant Mucho Burrito sized wrap. Amazingly, it held together super well and while the cats were circling like sharks, no delicious meat fell from the burrito! #foodie 🍽️

I did a viral Mexican pizza experiment tonight. The crust is tortillas and its formed by rolling cheese strings on three corners held by toothpicks. Sauced with salsa, topped with beef, mushrooms, red pepper, jalapeño, green onions & cheese. One had chipotle sauce & the other cilantro lime #Foodie 🍽️

Made an epic chicken salad sandwich for lunch today. Really hit the spot! #Foodie
