Here's how ABC would often edit "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" during the 2010s to make room for showing "Scared Shrekless" or the more popular "Toy Story of Terror" uncut. Some airings included Linus's "Never jump into a pile of leaves with a wet sucker" bit, but not always.

Happy 60th anniversary to "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!" One of my favorite Peanuts TV specials, one I have on Blu-ray, DVD, and even on vinyl record! (Before home video, you could often re-enjoy a movie or TV special as a "storyteller" album, and it'd be almost as good!)

People often think of long-running adult animated shows like "The Simpsons" and "South Park" only having a handful of main voice actors, or Mel Blanc voicing the male Looney Tunes, but "Rocko's Modern Life" had these five very talented cast members doing nearly all the voices in the show!

And here's another installment in a series of "Things now both under the same ownership thanks to Skydance." The way "What's New, Scooby-Doo?" showed off then-current technologies was a lot like how "The Fairly OddParents" did in the early seasons. ("...Internet?")

I am sorry to say that due to my financial situation, I will not be attending Furpocalypse this year. Things are pretty dreary for me right now, especially with the Skydance merger not helping... hope to see you guys at Anthro New England!

Hmmm, this sounds like another case for the private toon detective Sam Valentino to look into!

"Many #LooneyTunes and #CoyoteVsAcme fanarts have recently received copyright strikes on Twitter. The current prevailing explanation is a scammer is impersonating Warner Bros/Paramount/Skydance, but nothing is confirmed yet." "If it *is* WB, they sure haven't learned from their last fight with me."

Another reason I am so strongly opposed to this merger. For a long time, Paramount-Skydance/Viacom were known for being real copyright maximalists, even on content they aren't currently utilizing. (i.e. the 2007 YouTube lawsuit) I hope my YTPs will be safe! 😨

Skydance has started removing Looney Tunes fanarts due to copyright. I knew that the merger was a bad idea. Source: x.com/CartoonsOTMo... #LooneyTunes

Here's another installment in a series of "Things now both under the same ownership thanks to Skydance." The 1994 Hanna-Barbera TV movie "Arabian Nights" has its "Sinbad" story utilize a running gag that gets tiresome after a while, similar to how "The Fairly OddParents" later would.

What happens when there's a storm in the middle of the night and there's suddenly a very CLOSE, LOUD THUNDER CRASH; it sucks all the sleepiness from you and causes instant insomnia!

And now both are under the same ownership no thanks to the Skydance merger! Talk about cruel irony...

Another thing "The Fairly OddParents" and "What's New, Scooby-Doo?" have in common; an episode where it starts using the old Disney "Castle Thunder" sound effect but abruptly shifts to a newer, realistic and louder thunder effect!

Another installment in a series of "Things now both under the same ownership thanks to Skydance." The "Fairly OddParents" episode "Knighty Knight" has a version of Merlin the wizard who's seemingly fraudulent and has a kid sidekick (young King Artie!), like a certain Looney Tunes rodent pair...

The traffic lights when I leave one of the entrances for my college campus, I always miss the green light, seeing it turn yellow and then red as I drive up to the intersection. As Wile E. Coyote would say about it...

With that said, I also remember a pretty funny comment on a former YouTube upload of this cartoon: "Why the hell is the professor Hispanic? Why do weird shapes appear when Daffy pulls the chain? Why do they guffaw at Speedy and Daffy? And why is there a pedestrian crossing light in ancient Rome?"

Of course, "Mine Your Own Business" was my little pre-show for watching "Muppets Haunted Mansion," with a similar moment where Sweetums pretends to be a train like Shaggy and Scooby-Doo did (except this time as a GHOST train!) #Scoobtober

The second installment in a series of "Things now both under the same ownership thanks to Skydance." To be fair, it was stated "Coconut Fred's Fruit Salad Island" isn't a COMPLETE ripoff of SpongeBob SquarePants, as it also borrows a lot from "Gilligan's Island."

The Larry Doyle/Sherry Gunther Looney Tunes make their Cartoon Network debut, after the network REFUSED to show them for 22 years. I'm also reminded of how Cartoon Network didn't rerun the very simlar Chris Savino seasons of "Dexter's Laboratory" that often.

Looney Tunes Short Updates on Cartoon Network:

Ever since I upgraded to MacOS '27, I noticed Preview has an annoying new feature where if I screenshot an image and try to save it to a folder I want with my own filename, Preview will automatically save it to the iCloud with its own AI-generated name!

The first installment in a series of "Things now both under the same ownership thanks to Skydance." These overseas animation errors the domestic crew thought were hilarious and decided to keep them in rather than ask for a retake.

Just a quick vertical video to show off my "Wolfman Zak" getup I plan to wear to this year's Furpocalypse with its' Rock & Roll Nightmare theme. Of course, I lip-sync to the Wolf Pack 5 animatronic showtape. #FursuitFriday

Generative AI is getting scarily good, but it still does better at generating/animating rubber masks than it does with realistic people or animals, due to the whole "Uncanny Valley" thing. Even on-screen unmaskings, like this spoof I did, if "Fowl Weather" were a "Mission: Impossible"-esque caper...

The "Fangface" episode with the werewolf transformation potion, it's no surprise when Puggsy accidentally ingests some, he transforms and acts very much like Fangs does as Fangface! Of course, they were the two "comic relief" members of the gang... #MeTVToons

Hmm, a very useful clue... #Foxtober

Brian A. Miller suspects the Cartoon Network leak came from a hack of the network’s Atlanta headquarters servers, citing the scope of the material. He says the studio’s servers didn’t hold that range of outside productions, but stresses this is his guess.

On this Indigenous Peoples' Day, people who complain about "Sesame Street" being too "woke" nowadays don't realize they've been doing such things as far back as the 1970s! I love how this debunks the old "Tonto Talk" stereotypes, even if they use the term "Indian."
