i do genuinely like the story and characters that i have thought up for this game, but with how the game is right now, there is simply no way i will finish it anytime soon. it has never occurred to me before that i may only enjoy making certain kinds of games, and not others like RPG kinda games...

making Held by Scrap was a genuine breath of fresh air, and made me realize this. i guess i actually just enjoy making point and click games more! so yeah, this is where i'm at right now with game dev. i already have ideas on how to refactor Role-Playing-Golf into something better for me! exciting!

...and i've come to realize that maybe this is because of a few reasons. 1. i tried to turn it into an RPG because i like Deltarune 2. turns out i hate developing RPGs. i get such insane mental blocks whenever i try to build levels. world mapping is NOT my strong suit. same with making enemies ...

so i've decided i have two options here: A: i completely change the game into something i enjoy actually making, while keeping the characters and story or B: i cancel the game and move onto another game project now, right now i am leaning more towards A, because, uhhh sunk cost fallacy i guess?

Held by Scrap is now playable on your very browser! just go to the itchio page and boom, you got the game! thanks to @thatfirey.uk for helping me with the web porting process! it was unexpectedly easy!!! i will do this for my future (free) games moving forward, cus it good!

i pushed a patch a few mins before the deadline, forgor to post - Added Potato Visuals setting. if your pc struggled with running the game, this should help!

And so, the inevitability arrived. The source code for "F-STOP", aka "Aperture", the iteration of Portal 2 developed during 2008, leaked in it's entirety. This leak also contains the code from some other Directed Design Experiments, being 'Margharita' and '2 Bots 1 Wrench'.

okay so Endacopia heads.... BAD NEWS: i cannot record vocals for the next covers this week. i encountered a pretty big issue with my mic setup and will need to take some time to get it all proper. so the Surgeon songs will have to be delayed to AFTER next week... i hope u understand...
