I spent some time with our ensemble group teaching kids at the library about Middle Eastern drumming

Not a fancy stage, but 25 songs and 14 improvised drum solos happened for bellydancers here.

Some fungi I have encountered in the past

ICE tried to abduct my daughter at the airport in ABQ today. She managed to talk her way out of it, but they had all of her stuff and phone and kept her in a room interrogating for 15 minutes. Wtf.

No one know me here... but... we laid my mother to rest at sea today. We are smiling at memories of her. As we spread her ashes, a moon jellyfish rose up just where we laid her. It felt like the sea was welcoming her. Goodbye Mom. You gave far more than you got, selflessly.
