A year ago I saw the first Billy bat book at the store and I was struck by it. This character … his mischievous grin ……… just like in the story………… a year later …. I have 1 issue left to read…………. How will this saga unravEL

I took my sweet time with it. I had to order them from a store… but then idk their policy changed maybe and they said some bullshit about how it couldn’t be done anymore so I had to order them from another place. It took a while

I’d be cool to fully dedicate to this story give it more thoughts. Maybe some day. A full comic. It was the initial idea and I still feel like I was onto something

I didn’t have the writing skills and on top of that writing in a language that isn’t mine. It was not gonna happen. But I have not forgotten about it

I bought a new Gaston. INTERESTING FACt!! After the death of Franquin…. Isabelle Franquin (his daughter) now in charge of the character, took the decision to maintain the world of Gaston in the 1970s as he was last seen and drawn by her late father. So the brand new albums are a period piece

It’s strange because Gaston used to share its universe with Spirou & Fantasio. Both of them keep popping up in these new Gaston stories but are retrograded to their 70’s iterations. Soo cool and weird … I live for this stuff

AND ok AND on top of that Spirou & Fantasio kept having their own adventures in parallel that follow a regular floating timeline as well as having a retro spinoff series releasing NEW adventures taking place in the 1960’s oh it’s messy wow

I don't think you should wait for everything to be perfect when creating something. Just do it and see where it takes you. Dare to do it!!! it's awesome and can inspire others (it inspired me!)

a kid was crying in the gym today and the gym teacher put on a youtube video of ''baby cries'' sound effects on the giant multicolour bluetooth speaker sitting on the stage. Such a gym teacher move lol

Also every reader has a different idea of what the prettiest girl in the world!!!" should look like so I wonder what actress is worthy of portraying a beautiful angel apparently sent from heaven

last post is about multible users who locked in this year and jumped into the comicwagon. Talented people who were waiting for the right moment I presume. Exasperatingly good artists full of potential. I salute them. Good competition

I try to be distant and nonchalant about it but I do care about this little online space. The strips are a game of ping pong between readers and I. If it affects someone negatively it’s like a gut punch for me

I’m happier making 1000 nothing burgers over 1 nasty strip. I’d rather you feel nothing than sadness. I’ll always try to tune in or out the tone based on the feedbacks the previous strip got

Someone posted a really nasty quote by Rick Gervais in the reply of my comic and not long after deactivated their account. I hope they are doing ok. I think it hurt them

I brought up Rick Gervais today because a few years ago my friend invited me to go see him in Quebec City and yes I went mostly out of curiosity. I knew he was an edgy comedian. I wanted to experience this sort of space in real life. Mostly old people attended. As you might imagine

His routine was nothing out of the ordinary. I recall an all gender toilet joke or something. A priest touching kids I think…. You know. Revolutionary stuff 20 years ago.
