Yesterday, five-year-old Liam and his dad Adrian were released from Dilley detention center. I picked them up last night and escorted them back to Minnesota this morning. Liam is now home. With his hat and his backpack.

Just used my new food processor to get a batch of scalloped potatoes prepped and in the crockpot- excited to see how they turn out and man that processor is FUN!

Just had to take the puppy out to potty and it was beautiful outside- truly ‘calm and bright’ no wind, sky full of stars and Christmas lights aglow all down the street- lovely- Happy Christmas
