🚨Calling all TCG players🚨 I'm a university student planning to pursue a PhD in sociology, I wanna research subcultures and social inequality and i need YOUR help with my thesis I wanna look at different TCG subcultures and look at their level of misogyny among each one. And if theyre different

These kinds of situations are why I never trust a company to act in anyone's best interest except their executive's wallets. Too many examples of this happening to let your guard down

3 years ago today, Riot Games offered me a job making more money than I ever thought I’d make in my life. I had 19 interviews over 2.5 months to get it. Partner and I were moving to LA for it. I put in notice at my job and apartment. 2 weeks later they rescinded the offer due to “headcount issues”.

If anyone wants to trade me Pleiades cards in Philly, I make custom alters for #fabtcg and will be at Worlds there. Hmu in DMs and I'm happy to work a commission out! Thanks everyone who still follows me, I appreciate your support! #runechant #cardalters

I know a lot of folks are focused on the no kings protests right now and I agree that sustained resistance must be carried through after this. But some folks are acting like some of the protests around the country haven't ended with losing digits or an eye or worse.

That kind of experience can be radicalizing and all I'm trying to say is we can use those experiences as a jumping off point to teach people methods of organizing outside of the party system and state approved politics.

Side note, these experiences are potentially radicalizing not just for the injured victims but also their friends, family, and fellow protestors. Don't use people's pain as a tool, use the tools you have to address people's pain

This photo is the perfect encapsulation of american mass media, whether it was intentional or not

But if a few people in masks start lighting stuff on fire? Then you have news. This creates an *enormous* attentional advantage towards the most violent and chaotic kind of protest.

I feel so awkward as an autistic adult trying to connect with my local queer community. I don't really mask so I see people giving me odd looks and I can never tell if it's something I'm doing or if its that I'm just not picking up on their facial cues.
