Seems like ALL OF HUMANITY AND CREATION should have a say on whether we're getting rid of effing NIGHT TIME!! This continues to be the dumbest timeline🤦

I know there's a lot going on but I feel it should probably be more of an above-the-fold story that members of Congress released a thoroughly documented report directly accusing the president of the United States of being a serial rapist.

Just how they drew it up. Washington strikes early and strikes first to take the 1-0 lead.

The first genuinely honest ad for generative AI I've ever seen, from Microsoft / CoPilot A mediocre white guy sees his non-white colleague getting praised for good work, he asks AI to *literally copy it*, and then he gets all the praise instead: www.ispot.tv/ad/SoDi/micr...

"I Believed American Healthcare Was the Best in the World. Then I Did the Math" Yale epidemiologist @Alison_Galvani anticipated a hefty price tag for Medicare for All. But she found that we are already paying more than enough right now to cover the cost of universal healthcare.

$250k to be a viral bigot that got their ass handed to them. Their incompetence - priceless

Marisa Kabas@marisakabas.bsky.social

Huge follow-up reporting to my scoop: The Guardian confirmed America Next—the conservative nonprofit founded by Bobby Jindal that was offering students $ to disrupt El-Sayed events—paid a firm registered to Tommy Teepell’s dad Timmy $250k for “canvassing and influencer marketing” against El-Sayed.

someone in the press needs to ask him daily - Why do you keep bragging about your dementia tests? & Why do you have to take so many? Run ads with all the clips of him bragging he can tell a giraffe from a lion. then closing with voice over "Why does he take dementia tests? Because he's not well."

🤔 James Carville: “I’d rather Republicans keep the house by 5 than Dems win by 5… Because then they’re hostage to DSA, and Hakeem can’t move.” 😬Bill Kristol: “Good point.” So afraid of DSA folks who want M4ALL, etc. they’d rather Republicans hold power. Unreal. True colors.

it has been so hard for democrats to understand this is what people want to hear and not "i seek bipartisan solutions with my friends across the aisle." no! we want to hear how youre gonna fuck up nazis and misogynists and homophobes and bring us into the goddamned star trek future

For a long time I've wanted a sense of how trump has or hasn't interacted with chatbots (we know he posts a lot of slop sure). And this TIME anecdote about Grok arguably leading Trump into war is just extremely bracing

It goes against the teachings of Jesus. There's nothing good in this." Pastor Riggs helped lead the vigil at Riverbend.

Late Night's writers and Seth Meyers are doing some of the best commentary and comedy going. I think the show is in a sweet spot with the audience size and time slot so they don't draw as much RW insanity as Colbert and Kimmel, but they dont hold too much back.

Here's how we get Medicare for All done: Make Medicare whole (no one can keep all the parts straight!) Include vision, dental, and hearing. Begin extending to more people, starting with children. We arrive at Medicare for All, which means great Medicare for everyone.

I seldom used my ACA policy because it had an $8500 deductible and didn't cover anything until it was met. So $155+ for an office visit when you have "what's going around" wasn't an expense I could afford.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Assistant AG for Fraud Colin McDonald: "Apparently 35% of people have never even used their Obamacare account for any health services. That is a statistical impossibility and it's because these are not real people seeking real care. These are fraudsters."
