Need advice on product management and user journey mapping. First of all, is thee any kind of Ai tool for that. Second of all, how do you map out the user experience and user journey when you are creating an app. I haven't don't that properly before. I feel like there's a strong visual element

DHH and Peter Levels are very inspirational. They make me feel like I'm missing out and not fulfilling my potential. And it's never been easier to turn ideas into reality. I think what a lot of indie hackers are missing is real world experience. They know how to code, but

Their experience and pain points are mostly related to coding and the developer experience. That's why we see so many indie hackers create products and SaaS for other developers. Not a bad thing, but that's where vibe coding comes in. It enables non coders to realize their ideas and solve their

Pain points. I have some ideas I'm building based on some issues I see at work that require manual labor and yet are important. Right now working on a tester project to fix a pain point for my mom. And it's super cool!!

Just learned about bullettrain.co A fully open source, free, Ruby on Rails SaaS Framework (boilerplate). Amazing. If you're vibe coding, always looks for a boilerplate you can adapt rather than build everything from scratch. Open source bpilerplates make vibe coding safer, more robust, faster.

bullettrain.coThe Ruby on Rails SaaS Template | Bullet TrainBullet Train is a Ruby on Rails SaaS-in-a-Box that saves developers months of effort and new founders tens of thousands of dollars.

This gave me system architecture implementation file. Then I ran a /SC:workflow --output tasks --sequential --c7 It generated a super detailed task list The I ran /SC:build [tasklist] And claude ran without any issues until it exhausted the limit. It's insane.

How do you maximize Claude Code Max budget? I see they talk about projects and cached data. If I use Claude code, can I cache my repo lol? Or is that dumb to do? Basically what I'm asking is how do I get the most usage with a 100 bucks subscription?

Their explanation is quite good though, they are saying you can do 225 messages every 5h. That's cool. With Max plan: 900messagss every 5h. So need to do two coding sessions a day :D

Just got a completely free subscription to Perplexity Pro for a year because I had Revolut Premium plan (11e) month, which I was about to cancel, but they showed me this perk on cancelation screen. Also got a food delivery app premium and some fitness app. This surprised me tbh.

What's actually the cheapest tools for a casual vibe coder to use? Cursor, windsurf, gemini cli, def not Claude code? The pricing pages are deliberately confusing and explain nothing. By cheapest I mean the best value for money, the most bang for your buck?

Gemini CLI generous limits made me try to vibe code a Google sheets invoice generator + bulk sender app that's usable by boomers, mainly my mom, who I need to help send invoices every month. Spent a few hours yesterday scoping it out and setting up the project. Ngl, it's exciting. Makes me want to

Nonetheless. Just going through the entire process of scoping, building, publishing, marketing is interesting. Also, with my work account, I have access to some premium tools like ahrefs and gemini pro that I can use for free. So it's cool. Enough to get started at least.

Forgot to mention that I already have a python script I made using chat gpt 3.5! A year or so ago. So it shouldn't be that hard I hope. Yesterday I got Google o Auth working quite easily.

Learn to code, build various website ides I have. The main issue is that I'm a complete beginner with basic understanding of coding. I'm worried it will go wild and I won't be able to reign it in. But the pace of improvement in tools is so fast that maybe by the time it's an actual problem for me

It will be solved. Anyway, I do intend to learn to code too, just that it's hard with gym, gf and working. Still, never been easier and more accessible than now. Will show the app once I have it. I do intent to publish it and host it and sell it. Unlikely to succeed but a cool project for me l

Can I use Gemini CLI instead of Cursor for a vibe coding project, Would that work or is cursor simply more optimized to build projects because of features like task manager and that?

Tried using Brave Search, it's actually pretty bad as a search engine. Any other recommendations? I want to support brave because it's actually independent.

The most outrageous New York Times screw up to me, was when Russia mistakenly bombed the Russian city of Belgorod in 2023. The NYT falsely ran the headline that Ukraine had bombed the city, while using images of Ukrainian civilians killed by Russians in Ukraine. Since then, I dropped them entirely.

Always rememberin how the Times literally did not have anyone who spoke Ukrainian when the invasion happened so they just sent their one Russian-speaking correspondent to Mariupol to yell at people in the evacuation corridor as the Russians were shelling it

You are up to date.
