Whu, huh? The third boss in Castlevania is __ of __??? That's crazy! I LOVE their design. This game rocks, man. Kicking my ass, but I just learned how to do whip attacks and they just wrecked this boss. Super easy. But I loved that character moment. I press on.

Walked down to the store to grab a few things for bekfist. & to my surprise, they had blood oranges, which I thought was a Jan-March sort of produce. Turns out they were from Australia which explained that bit. Oh & it had a little vampire on them. Breakfast was yum. Here's to a great day, everyone!

This game is gonna rock so hard. Castlevania is fucking back, baby. I'm blown away. I'm actually SHOCKED how incredible this game is. The only thing I'll really say is that the soundtrack is fucking PEAK!

After being gone all last weekend, not getting home and having to go to sleep immediately for a new work week, and the absolutely grueling week at work, I'm finally free! And it's time for motherfucking CASTLEVANIA! It's been 18 years since the last 2D one and 7 years since Iga's spiritual successor

Time for one last Texas thing before leaving Houston: Whataburger! Now, I only just realized that they opened a location in Orlando, FL, but we needed breakfast anyway. Grabbing a breakfast burger and a prickly pear raspberry refresher.

I was very lucky to visit Houston when I did as the Asia Society Texas Center had JUST opened a Yoshitaka Amano exhibit. I've always known him as a Final Fantasy GOAT, but his career has encompassed so much. First up is his New York Nights II at a CRAZY 59 meters long.

AND FINALLY, I snapped this as I loved this Amano quote: "I don't choose trends or the spirit of the times -- I simply draw by relying on the images that come down to me. That has been my unchanging creative process, both in the past and today."

I saved my favorite for last. I was actually awe-struck by their vibrancy and glossiness. Absolutely stunning. We have The World of Candy Girls, Monster I, and Monster II with a fourth photo of a zoomed in section of Candy Girls that I just loved.

His Big Bang was a celebratory piece based on all the Final Fantasy artwork he's done. My girl Terra is there along with FF15 boys in their car along with many others. Doesn't translate here but this is super glossy being done with automotive paint The second piece is ceiling painting titled Spring.

After having incredible BBQ at Terry Black's, a Houston BBQ chain, Dan and I are getting ready to go see Zach Cregger's Resident Evil. Not huge into horror (I generally admire it from afar), but I'm excited for this one. The weekend of Rey Does Houston continues.

I can't believe how many bits they had at the Starbomb show. And naturally, Brian ran his bits into the ground. Classic Brian. But the crowd LITERALLY ate it up. Epic Rap Battle was great. Here they are as spartan vs spartan; Leonidas vs Master Chief. And Starbomb's encore. What a surprise.

Walking down to a breakfast place nearby while I'm visiting a friend in Houston. Dan's wife kinda didn't believe I wanted to walk down there lol. It's a 20 min walk so not bad. I'm going for some chilequiles. Hold the beans! Yeah, I'm a bad Mexican haha. Hate refried beans.

So visiting Texas... Wtf is up with age verification here? Anyway, here's the haul I got from a chain I hadn't heard of before, Kinokuniya. I almost bought a Zelda TotK art book but I'm unsure if I already have the English version or not. Got a Kiki tumbler and some Mega Man X pins (glad I got Zero

I can't believe we are 3 weeks away from a BRAND NEW 2D Castlevania. We are 18 years removed from Order of Ecclesia. Even the spiritual successor Bloodstained was 7 years ago. I'm so fucking ready for this. And only a week away from the demo with full save carry over is nearly here. WE'RE SO BACK

Oooo I'm gonna have to think about this one. I've always said if I was trapped on a desert island that all I'd need music-wise was Mega Man and Castlevania music, and I'd be set.

And I still almost missed my flight (not really). BS, y'all had me so distracted that I didn't hear the call to board. Totally tuned out the announcements (that happened like every minute lol). But I'm on the plane! See y'all in Texas 🫡

WHELP! Even after taking a shuttle, getting through TSA check, etc I'm STILL 2 hrs early for my flight to Houston. Eh, better than the time I almost missed an international flight lol Going to Texas (en español) to see a friend and Starbomb. Gonna be a fun weekend! @gamegrumps.bsky.social

Castlevania 40th Anniversary An Orchestral Concert announced - Coming to Tokyo, London, and Los Angeles in Spring 2027 www.konami.com/games/castle...

A Musashi shirt is crazy. I played Samurai Legend on PS2 back in the day. Rly fun action RPG. I own Brave Fencer from PS1 but never played more than an hour of it. Fun series. Doubt we'll ever see another one.

NEW! We’ve got Samurai Beats and Skate Penguin both designed by @ilustrata.bsky.social both #dailytees available for 24 hours only at www.theyetee.com

You know it's humid when you sweat and the sun is only barely cresting for sunrise. Like my tank had quite a bit of sweat (not drenched by any means). But, damn, Florida. Chill please. It was worth it though. Was rocking out to Deltarune and Electric Callboy so much so that a crossguard commented

Out for a little stroll this morn. I forgot to get hash browns for my weekend breakfasts, so going down to the grocery store. Hope everyone has a great day!

Tried the blue collar root beer float. I like Ghost energy drinks and Core protein shakes so I said fuck it. You mix a Ghost A&W root beer and Core vanilla shake and that's it. It tastes good. Will I spend $7+ on this again? I doubt it. Worth a try if you're curious.

After spending last afternoon with Mega Man X4, I was able to get through all the maverick stages as Zero. I'm loving the game but am experiencing noticeable input lag. Turns out this release has significant input lag which is really disappointing. I'm not sure I noticed it in X1-3 but it's there.

As far as gameplay, I love it. The game is difficult but MM has always had short stages so replaying them isn't a bad thing. Boss weaknesses are almost required (for me) although I did manage to beat them without their weakness. Although I'm just unsure if Zero can use a weakness against every boss🤷

I've kinda been bouncing around on games a lot lately because they are either rogue likes or they just haven't been grabbing me. But I realized I didn't play many of the games in the Mega Man X collection. So I'm starting Mega Man X4... RIGHT NOW!

And it's odd I didn't play them all because if you think about where I got my handle, yeah I'm a massive X series fan. I think I stopped because I was trying to 100% every game before moving on. And I'm not super familiar with X3, so that game had me stuck. There's oddly a lot you have to do for 💯%

So far I've been able to secure a preorder for the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time game, case, and Switch 2 system. All at different stores. I'm still hunting for the pro controller. And being the ocarina is only at the Nintendo Store and is sold out, might have to give up on that one.

Managed to secure a preorder for the Ocarina of Time Switch system. I am sooo happy! OF COURSE, OoT remake looks INCREDIBLE! I don't hold it in as high regard as most, but Zelda is Zelda and Zelda always ROCKS. We saw a bomb-able wall in the Water Temple that wasn't there before so I'm still hoping

One of the blowhards said that he'd not talk for the whole tournament if he lost the next race. Naturally, I wanted him to lose. Joke was on me; I had to play as him and actually win the next race. Wishful thinking I guess lol

Like most teams of racers have someone who hates the other or disagrees with the leadership style or is just a raging cunt. Actually the raging cunt per capita in this game is crazy. So I'm gonna finish this second out of four acts and see how I'm feeling.
