sometimes checking bsky all day just makes me feel more out of touch with my furry friends. i feel like i don't like most of the things people on here like, and they don't care about anything i like. it shouldn't matter, but i want to belong!!

maybe applicable to online fandom spaces in general - everyone else seems to mesh with it, and i just don't. i feel like an outsider among outsiders. i used to enjoy talking about my weirder interests on furry twitter/bsky/tumblr, but slowly realised that barely anyone listened, and stopped. ho hum!

it's not all bad. i have rly great irl friends with lots of shared interests. i might even be playing a silly little noise show at a furcon sideshow next year? (TBC!) but there's something about spaces like bsky that disappoint me
