So I've been having (more) mental health issues lately, and as a result I largely shut myself away from a lot of info about what's going on in the world simply out of self-preservation. (Naturally, if there's A Thingโ„ข๏ธ, I'll get information and act/react appropriately, so it's not like I stay

myriad of offenses, the most recent of which is selling themselves to a country with an abominable regime that has no consideration for human rights. (Although, realistically, that's where the current "administration" is desperately trying to drag the US.) Anyway kudos and congrats to Lord British!

So I guess there's gonna be a new side-scrolling #Metroid by Mercury Steam. I'm gonna buy it, but I'm probably gonna be disappointed, because those people do NOT know how to balance their games. Metroid 2 remake? Difficulty curve all over the place. Dread? PROGRESSION curve all over the place. Ugh.

As an aside, a good way to turn #BigWalk into a PvP game is to grab one or both of the Asshole Masks and have a free-for-all where everyone tries to grab them out of each others' hands and stuff them on each others' heads.

Still working on #BigWalk by @househouse.com with my buddy. We "finished" the game, but now we're working on totally finishing the game. And while I adore it, the Asshole Mask used in a couple of those puzzles is a literal torture device.

So my buddy and I started playing #BigWalk. Anyone and everyone who has at least AN FRIEND that you can play online games with should immediately stop whatever it is you're doing, get this game, and play it. It's big fun. And the talent of the team that made it shines through.

@househouse.com Omg you guys. #BigWalk is freakin' REMARKABLE. I love it. I love everything about it! ...Except maybe how it's a little too easy to get stuck on rocks that are of a size I'd have no problem walking over in real life. Anyway, is there any chance you'll do like what you did for

Untitled Goose Game and release a physical edition? Because I would very much like to buy one. Or merch. Merch is good too. In fact, I'm also gonna buy it on PSN (where I play) because I feel like it being included in August's Plus games is TOO good a deal and also I didn't directly give you money?

So, since it was one of the titles made available to PS Plus (basic tier) subscribers, and my buddy and I are always looking for co-op games, we've been playing #CodeVein for a while now. Trying to get the platinum trophy (this was probably a mistake). It was okay for a while, but the game has now

crappier enough that you notice. It's like Kroger's brand Dark Souls. It even has "we have Anor Londo at home" Anor Londo. I mean, with From's games, I generally look forward to and enjoy subsequent playthroughs. With Code Vein, you have to do 3 playthroughs to see all the endings. My buddy and I

are on playthrough number 3, and the game is honestly no longer fun; it's tedious and annoying. I'd probably give it a 6/10; I don't regret playing it, but I'm sure as hell glad I didn't spend any money on it (aside from my base tier PS Plus sub price).

thoroughly worn out its welcome. I guess a lot of people called it "anime vampire Dark Souls", which, I mean, okay, that is kind of accurate, but here's the thing. It does do a whole lot of things that FromSoftware's games do. It just does all of it somewhat crappier. Not a LOT crappier, but

Sometimes, it's good for me to NOT pay attention to games. For example, take #EldenRing. At first, it was like, "Fromsoftware is making a new title!" and I was all, "Oh? You have my attention!" And then they were like, "with writing by George R. R. Martin!" And then I was like, "Okay then, I guess I

narrative is mediocre at best due to constant shifts during development, but the game delivers exactly what I want, and I didn't have to spend a long time anticipating and slobbering over it's release! Anyway, long story short, sometimes it's good to be in the dark about a game until just before it

it's literally all I can think about for the next 8 months. And I barely had to wait to get it after deciding I was invested! Fast forward to now, and #CrimsonDesert. When it was announced, it was announced as an MMO, so I was all, "Cool, I don't MMO and never will, so here's another title I don't

need to waste any attention or money on!" Then a couple weeks before launch I find out it was changed to a single-player game, and started looking into it. Seemed like the kind of open-world fantasy playground I wanted, so I jumped on board. And now I can't stop playing. I know it's flawed, and the

"Okay, 4 pages is enough of that, now have 150 pages of how the Lannisters are horrible people doing horrible things and also POLITICS!" Ugh. I read fantasy for FANTASY. Real-world politics suck enough, I don't need that in my escapism. (But I know a lot of people enjoy it.) Come around to a month

or two before the launch of #EldenRing, and I see more about the game, and I'm like, "Wow, that looks really dope! Alright you bastards, I'm in!" And I preorder the game (reminder: DON'T preorder games; do as I say, not as I do), get it at launch, and then that game just devours my brain entire and

can ignore this one." For reference, I read the first two books of A Song of Ice and Fire. This told me his writing is NOT for me. Not trying to say he's a bad writer! But reading those books, it was like, "Ooh, here we go, more about what's going on up at The Wall, this is interesting!", and then

Hot take time! Resident Evil is a shit series and the only thing it brought to the table with the original entry (and the only reason it got so popular) was the fact that you could blow the heads off zombies with a shotgun.

So I found out there's gonna be a new live action Masters of the Universe movie. As someone who grew up watching the cartoon and playing with the toys, I gotta admit that this made me feel some kind of way. Then I found out Jared Leto is gonna be Skeletor. That made me feel some kind of OTHER way.๐Ÿ˜’

@cwtycho.penny-arcade.com Having just read the newspost for Friday's comic I have to barge into your Blueskies all excitement person to say, with enthusiasm, "I know what microfiche is! I used to make it at this job I had! The main part of the job was microfilming stacks of documents, which sucked,

So here's a question. Why is ever single anime butler named "ใ‚ปใƒใ‚น"? Like, literally, every single anime I've seen with an butler, the butler has that name. Are they all the same butler? Like, there's only ONE anime butler that all the studios just pass around to butle in their animes?

I've been watching so much anime lately that I've started thinking, "Why can't *I* meet an attractive catgirl who likes me?" But then I'm like, "Oh yeah, it's because I'm old and married. Also, catgirls aren't actually a thing."
