Zippy

Four more released, for six total as of today. That leaves us with seven to go! They all flew off pretty quick, so I didn’t get super great photos. But ah! Bye, my babies~ x3

The first two lovelies came out yesterday morning. I just put them out into the garden. Good luck on your journey, little ones~ <3

And just like that, the other seven are chrysalises. Now… we wait ^^

More monarch updates. The older six are now in their chrysalises, looking really lovely~ I didn’t want to overcrowd, so I reduced the second habitat down to seven caterpillars, all of which are doing well too! Yay! ^^

Some updates on the monarchs. I’ve found a total of five more mature caterpillars. Meanwhile, ten of the eggs I found have hatched. That brings a total of 15 caterpillars at the moment. Heh~ <3

In total, I was able to find 15 eggs and the two caterpillars mentioned earlier. Theyre so smol~ How exciting! <3

Going out for a little while, I was able to find two teeny monarch caterpillars and eleven eggs. Time to protect!!! <3

Super exciting!!! I saw a momma monarch putting her eggs on my milkweed plants today. Hopefully I’ll see some caterpillars and be a butterfly dad again this year! Gotta prepare the habitat~ x3

We always make Dolly’s cakes for the birthdays among our local group. Felt appropriate at this time… ^^

Restored this little Emerson “Jubilee” fan as a birthday gift to a friend. I’ll have to find a better badge for it someday though. I’ve not played with a fan in a while, haha! In other news, I need to get better at taking ‘before’ pictures x3

Well, that’s kinda nifty. Body work and primer. Definitely doesn’t need to be perfect either, hah! Honestly just thrilled this is getting done so quickly~ x3

Apart from getting the bed painted here soon, my truck is done and has left the shop! Frame swap, full suspension replacement, new brake components, 60% new floors, and much more. What a crazy journey to say the least. I’m both thrilled and proud! ^^

The Mii+Yoshi Force’s Space Journey BEGINS!! Commissioned by Mii + Yoshi Force Leader @ryanr07.bsky.social ! Based off the 3DS Streetpass Game, "Mii Force" ! You should really check it out! :3 Thank you so much!!

Looking a bit more ‘together’ now, I think. Next is getting the new bed in shape a prepped for paint~ =3

How lovely~ <3

It lives!!! Engine started right up with no fuss. What a well-behaved truck~ x3

Plop! Right back home, little engine, safe and sound~ =3

Floors are all patched, undercoated, and sound dampened. Mounted it on its new frame that I restored a few months ago. We’re finally reassembling my truck!!! =3

I may have accidentally started something between @zilchfox.com and @zipfox.bsky.social by buying them a massive sleepy blue yoshi plush... #JoltinkArt

I have no self control… >.>

Tacked together! Not too shabby! =3

Interesting puzzle pieces, huh? Let’s see if they fit~ =3c

Adios~

What a lovely day to run out of gas… >.>

Eeee! I like to think the three monarch butterflies I cared for made the big migration safely. In any case, that’s great news. I’m super happy, I’ll cry <3

Yoshi movie?

Everybody is Ready for Yoshi's big debut on Cinema! Happy Super Mario Galaxy Movie day!! Commissioned by the great @ryanr07.bsky.social ! ♥️

Oh no! The engine came out. Oh no! The body came off the chassis. How could this happen??? Anyway. Progress! =3

Update on my work truck. I’ve spent the last few months restoring a chassis in prep for a frame swap! Since the original chassis is rust rotted (just northern car things). If anyone’s wondering what I’ve been up to lately, there ya go! =3

Happy Mar10 day!

Some before-after shots of a table I restored over the last week. I gotta say, im quite pleased with how this one transformed. I need to do more furniture… hah! X3 #ZippyAntiques

With the ice storm looming, I went out to take some pictures of the garden. We’ve had a warm winter. We see some paperwhites, quince, candytuft, and hellebores already blooming… ^^

Second time seeing Hadestown, and man… still in love with it~ <3

On this day, 20 years ago, I drew this picture, creating my beloved sona Zippy. Happy 20th birthday, little guy! =3
