So my lower back has been a bit sore with all the painting and DIY I've been doing to get my room ready for when I move. This morning I was trying to find a mirror de-mister button on our 8 seater vehicles. I pressed a button on the door which looked like a little wing mirror with heat coming off it

Chat... it's a seat warmer. I've been doing this job 7 months and I've just found out this thing has HEATED SEATS. Game changer. It's was great for the pain in my lower back but when it gets really cold I'm gonna be fighting for that run.

I did 2 days at a very famous UK pub which I won't name. It was a live in job but on the second day one of my colleagues had gone home with the key to the staff lodgings. Boss at the time was an ass and said I'd have to go get the key myself (a 2 hour drive away. My house was only 45 mins away)

That was the final straw. He'd expected me to be in two places at once for the past two days. Do the dishes! Rooms need cleaning! Swap the sheets! Now back to dishes! Absolute jackass. Went home and told him I wasn't coming in tomorrow. I'd come back next week for my stuff in staff accom.

I think we need to come up with a name for that awful AI slop font that is repetitively generated without fail. And then normalise shaming people for using AI to make flyers and posters. It's seeping into everything and I'm sick of seeing it. These alone are from my local town page 🤢

I really want to draw but I'm permanently exhausted. I'm not even awake enough to play a game. Not even Spyro, and I can play that with my eyes closed. I feel like I'm spending week days catching up on sleep then the weekend arrives again and its back to midnight starts and 15 hour shifts. Repeat.

Had the week from hell and it's not over yet. Decided to try and draw and this popped up on my tablet from when I'd started I weeks ago but just wasn't sure if I liked it. Cleaned it up a bit and here we go. Some art in these trying times.

Went for a routine eye test. Initially good news. My particularly terrible eye has actually slightly improved. This was then overshadowed with the optician diagnosing me with DED (Dry Eye Disease) so I will have to be on eye drops for the rest of my life and I'm terrible at applying eye drops 🤦

You know this new job can have its rough moments but there's actually something really nice about driving through the night when the roads are much better and then on the way home seeing everyone start to wake up for a week of work but instead I'm done and home free. Not all TAR (Toxic Abuse Relationships) are romantic. Sometimes you grew up with them. Shared a room for 17 years, was always there for them, the best big sister you could be. But its taken me 2 years to realise you can't negotiate with a narcissist. You can't help someone who cannot look inwards.

It wasnt my intention to trauma dump but rather offer a small explanation for why I've been a bit off the past two years. I'd be lying if I said it was getting better. I have actually done some more art fight attacks but I've just been too busy to post them thanks to yesterdays/today's? 21 hour shift. Wishing I'd brought my tablet to post said attacks because in my sleep deprived state I misread my paperwork and I'm a hour too early for a job. 🙃
