I’m still waiting for it to start. We have been fortunate so far to be having a relatively cool summer but I know that can turn into a blistering hot Indian summer in Sept/Oct.
This summer has been globally awful.
For us, this summer's frequent heat domes has all, but completely killed our pollinator gardens and crippled our tomato plants. Not one tomato to eat.
Whhhhaaaaaaaaaat, you don't want more days and nights of guys on bikes or cars with 6 mufflers revving their engines as loudly as they possible can before doing 80 through a schoolzone? I don't believe it, EVERYONE loves that!
I wish mine could begin. I need a break that isn't my body, my bank account, or something in my house. I need something in life to feel good and hopeful for a change, and some sunshine involved would really be nice. 😞
Felt this in my soul omg all the Halloween decide starting to be put out is teasing me 😭😭 also gonna move into this drawing bc the aesthetic is perfect 👌
It's been ridiculously mild here in North Missouri. Ordinarily it's in the 90s at this time of the year. Not this year. This year has been ridiculous. It rains almost every day. My vegetable garden is literally drowning.Temperatures in the 70s. Just weird.
The world is topsy-turvy for summer haters. I draw the blinds closed. I avoid the outdoors. I feel seasonal depression.
I can't wait until the worst season of all is over and the best one begins:
For real. I'm loving the frequent harvest from the garden, but I think I'm being constantly overstimulated with all this bright-ass light!
I want it to be dark by 530 and cold enough i don't feel silly for wanting a nice bowl of soup.
This is my 2nd summer in central Florida and as a retailer all I can say is these mfers get grouchy af this time of year and we are ALL very much anticipating winter.
