The Pentagon is requesting the equivalent of $1,500 per American household to fund President Trump's unauthorized, unconstitutional, and unpopular war. Congress must say no.

Genuine question — where’s the $1,500 per household number from? The latest budget docs I’ve seen don’t break down supplemental requests that way. Is that including baseline defense spending or just war-related increases?

If the Republicans can’t declare a war constitutionally, how can we even justify a $200B payment towards it. Not to mention the sacrifices Americans are currently making now. Nothing for Americans and everything for Trump’s adventurism and fantasies.

Plenty of money for war. No money for healthcare, education, housing, etc. We are slaves to the military-industrial-tech complex. WAKE UP PEOPLE AND GET ANGRY!! #NoWarForIsrael

Meanwhile, I’m already paying $2,250/month for a carefirst bronze plan for my family. The way this administration cavalierly spends unimaginable sums of money is going to radicalize me.

Perhaps the Pentagon request for war funding should come solely from people with assets over a million dollars and, especially, from those whose wealth has increased the most in the last two years. I can't imagine that the current congress would pass such a plan, of course.

On top of the $2500 tariffs every household will be paying and not to mention gas prices and inflation that comes with it? Fun times! And who is stupid enough to be buying our debt now?
