Maybe we convert all defense aid to loans backed by frozen oligarch money. - The loans can only be spent on equipment manufactured in countries that have implemented the full sanctions on Russia & Belarus. - The loans would be setup with extra long terms. This would be good for by R’s & D’s.

USA only holds $8 billion of Russian assets; Denmark and the rest of Europe hold the rest, lets hope they do the right thing and use that money to buy Ukraine weapons from South Korea, Germany, France, etc and avoid sending money to the American manufacturers that support Trump.

The problem is capital flight. Governments that seize assets are not seen as safe places to leave your assets. Saudi Arabia, China etc may be thinking that they're next.

I don’t think anyone is going to confuse seizing Russian assets with being an unsafe place to hold assets. Most nations and entities are not illegally invading their neighbors and undermining the rule of law where their assets are held.

I don't think so: even after 20 years of bullying and occupying neighbours, killing opposition in exile and at home, manipulating elections in US and Europe, starting genocidal wars etc. there is only a little discussion about maybe seizuring a few bucks here. Dictator money is safe in Europe

Should have been done a long time ago. The problem is, the biggest Russian Asset (Trump) is intent on giving the frozen assets back to Russia, normalizing relations, and even signing deals with them. Trump is 100% a Russian Asset, when will the intelligence community deal with this huge threat?

Trump won’t ever do that but I wish it could be done. Ukraine deserves it. I can foresee democrats storming the capital in protest of Trump and Musk. Exactly! The only ones who may stop putting their money in Western banks are (war) criminals. And that's not a bad thing. We should have never rushed to help Russia recover in the first place back in the 1990s or started doing business with them--without first ensuring they'd changed.

I bet NSA has dirt on Elon that proves he has been colluding with Russia. I would bet NSA could give us enough evidence to end Elon financially/criminally, but it kept it secret per Obama, Biden and Trump. I think it needs to be seen and then drop him in Siberia. Penniless.

Biden should have done it because now that Trump is in power if they seize the Russian assets it will be to keep it and probably for himself if it is not for the country but in his case it is the same thing since the country belongs to him and should serve him.
