No surprise. The mainstream media was Trump's biggest advocate in 2016 and 2024. They aren't going to let things like facts, truth, or constency get in the way of their agenda.
Pretty amazing that comms person at FBI called my @ms.now colleague @kendilanian-nbc.bsky.social a liar and demand a correction only for Kash to post a photo from the locker room
Don't congratulate John Roberts or the Supreme Court.
Congratulate Rick Woldenberg, the Chicago-area leader of Learning Resources, an educadtional toy company that had the courage to sue the president of the United States to save his family business.
As well as everyone else who stepped up.
Since 1982, thereβs been only 99 cases of noncitizens voting in our elections. For those of you keeping score at home, thatβs an average of 2.3 noncitizens voting per yr. And this is all according to the right-wing Heritage Foundation. Todayβs show.π podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/t...

I am once again asking you to reach out if you, or someone you know, is in or near Springfield. I want to hear from people about the situation on the ground and connect with local writers to publish. Please feel free to email me at adam @ liberalcurrents dot com, or connect with me on signal.
Some part of me will never get over the fact that 77 million people voted for the Trump ticket in 2024 after the campaign of hate and terror they waged on Springfield. And now those poor people are about to experience what Minneapolis has been going through www.liberalcurrents.com/terror-retur...
Has any reporter done a deep dive into two of the most powerful people in Washington DC who seem determined not to use that power or even comment on current events?
Mike Johnson and John Thune could stop virtually all of the current chaos simply by putting their hands back on the wheel.
Chris Murphy: ICE officer training has been cut in half by this administration. Agents now get just 47 days β chosen as a tribute to presidential vanity, not safety. No surprise violent incidents are skyrocketing
Samuel Alito flew two flags used by insurrectionists.
Clarence Thomas' wife plotted to overturn the 2020 election.
Both justices refused to recuse themselves from SCOTUS cases related to the January 6th plot.
It's a stain on our nation that this has effectively been forgotten.
Five years later, January 6 still matters. Not just because of what happenedβbut because of what happens if we decide weβve already heard enough.

An essential development over the past decade-plus is that the ignorant went from feeling chastened when their ignorance was revealed to banding together and deciding that, actually, they were right. They might disagree at times, but they agreed that ignorance itself was an indicator of trust.
All of these bootlegged copies of the 60 Minutes segment flooding my feed (saying, βWatch it quick! Before it disappears!β) makes me feel like Iβm in the Soviet Union and just got some black market foreign newspaper I need to hide under a floorboard in my house.
This is where America is now
Watch all the trump-censored segments of the 60 Minutes report before @cbsnews.com is able to get them removed.
@governor.ca.gov needs to commit, as president, to prosecuting every criminal involved in this crime against humanity starting at the top and going down.
The Olivia Nuzzi story and the Bari Weiss at CBS story are the same story, which is that the upper echelons of legacy media are absolutely rife with people who worship power and don't feel burdened by any sense of responsibility to their profession or the public.
Worth noting, I guess, that inside of a year we've gone from administration officials taking selfies of themselves at CECOT and bragging about how it's hell on earth to now getting their horrible little media worms to kill stories about it
Bari Weiss is the logical endpoint of corporate media. This is what happens when people who hate journalism are in charge of it. The only way journalism works is when itβs independent from the power itβs supposed to hold to account, which means ownership canβt have anything to do with those in power
Today's abysmal jobs report is a reminder that tax cuts for corporations and the rich donβt create jobs or grow the economy.
What's required is investment in working people β and better wages.
When workers have money to spend, the economy grows and businesses create more jobs.
Remember this.
AOC: I want to remind you where the real crime is. It's in the oligarchs taking $170 billion of our money from health care and food assistance and public programs and taking that and funneling it into a secret police program.
Ossoff: "This is so much deeper than the politics. What does it say about the moral condition of this Congress that the thing that has them all tied up in knots is a very simple question: Should people's health insurance premiums go up double or triple? This is a policy choice."
@cnn.com is a joke. Dana Bash just interviewed Tom Homan. The Tom Homan famous for taking a $50K bribe from an undercover FBI sting which was caught on tape. She didn't have the nerve to ask "Did you take the $50K? Did you report it on your taxes?" She was just a mute audience for his lies.
