It's time for the House on the steps of the Capital. It's time for writing the Democratic mandate. It's time to meet in secret and plan a vigorous response to what is here and what is to come. It's time for making good trouble way beyond town halls.

More surprising than 11 GOP congressional representatives getting some backbone is that Laura Luna was the ONLY woman in the group that helped the Democrats block this draconian GOP measure against new parents proxy voting. Regardless, Trump's agenda is toast for this week.

So that means a possibility the the Missouri 4th Congressional district “Mark “ God has a Plan” Alford to have another townhall to listen to his constituents? That is rich, he probably wont.

Booker and the Dems have them running scared. Let’s go 💥💥💥 The dems need to be holding town halls in every MAGA district. Take Bernie’s lead. Let’s get some messaging out there and share their vision!

The time they have off since Johnson became speaker last year needs to be a digital clock for the country to see. They work Tuesday-Thursday usually 3 weeks a month, but have had numerous extended recesses, vacations or just time away from DC. It’s time to pay them hourly when in DC at low wages.

Hasn’t the Republicans in the last couple years had a ridiculous amount of holidays because I didn’t like the way the voting system was going. They wanted to keep Democrats quiet.. They’re not doing their job they were elected to do. Why is that OK? Can you take a week off and still get your paid

Little petty tyrant Johnson doesn't respect differences of opinions even among his own party members. He should be an adult--accept the loss and move on. BTW I dislike the power bubble of All speakers of the house, no matter which party. NOT DEMOCRATIC.

But his Gmail! Lock him up! He emailed classified information from a free email service that mines emails for marketing data. Nothing is free, Gmail uses large language models and before that it uses simpler systems. Username and password are encrypted but NOT the email in transmission.

They should not get paid to save the government some money. I cannot wait for Rep. Lawler’s town hall he is supposed to be having this month. Democrats should have town halls in red districts like Rep. Khanna has done.

Must be nice to just fuck off at work, still get paid, vacation all the time, and when your boss (the people who elected you) would like to have a word with you, you just tell them to fuck off your not coming.

Dusty is too scared to face his constituents unless it a group of middle schoolers, Sioux Falls Community leaders or dairy queen drop ins. He needs to control his audience, he has no courage. Plus he is very busy campaigning for Trump's garden of heroes to be located in black hills. GROSS

Corey might say he is imperfect but he looks like one helluva guy to me! And a darn sight more eloquent than DJT who can’t string a sentence together let alone speak for hours!

Hey Adam, how do you feel about Senator Cory Booker and today's Wisconsin supreme court election? Any thoughts? I think he's doing an amazing job with excellent timing.

Booker is just about to break, if not already, Ted Cruz 21 hour Senate floor speech when Republicans were trying to kill the ACA/Obamacare. If he reaches 24 hours, he will break Strom Thurmond’s record for longest Senate floor speech. Im donating to Dems to encourage them to keep it up! 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Yeah they didnt accomplish during Obamas 8 years because repukes didn't want him to have a good record. & now 🍊💩 has taken his admin totally off the president website! What a giant orange joke he is!

As a senior citizen who has a debilitating condition where my autoimmune system is attacking my muscles, leading to breathing problems, muscle fatigue and cramps, who works a 10 hour day/four days a week shift in an animal hospital, I'd like to tell Mikey to go suck an egg roll.

Just a quick question Sir. What does the staff of each representative in the house do in instances like this? Do they stay and work on issues or do they just have time off? Are they paid for the days like this that are called off by the leader of the house? Just curious.

Is this an example of government efficiency the GOP keeps hyping? Hard to believe they have nothing pressing to attend to. Ironic that Johnson says voting in absentee is unconstitutional, but could care less about Trump and his admin violating the constitution over and over. MAGA = hypocrisy.

Even better, corporate fundraising. I'd like to see them on the phone with big corporate donors as the stock market is tanking and tariffs are obliterating their businesses.
