I would be thrilled if the people of Iran overthrow their government. The U.S. should stay out of it & should NOT impose a member of the Pahlavi family on Iranians. The Shah was hated by everyone in Iran; that’s why they ended up with the Ayatollah. They need a democracy.

There is no assurance of who would replace the current Regime. A vacuum in the ME is not a good thing. It might be filled by some other regime that still is an ally to Russia. We already learned this in Iraq, and you of all people should know that.
