Tonight we are witnessing a profound moral contradiction with an Israeli government facing credible allegations of genocide, being treated as a legitimate democratic partner by Western governments and endorsed by the USA for reelection.

It’s a fact that 70,000 were killed including 20,000 children. Probably more. What message are we giving our children? What world are we building? And why is this not the biggest talking point of the day?

In Feb ISRAEL admitted 71,000. That was 6 months ago. Last month UN estimated that 8,000 remain under rubble. Possibly underestimate. Please use the internet.

Trump was fairly elected. He represents the usa untill people remove him, trough impeachment or popular uprising. Nerthanjahu was fairly elected, he represents Israeli citizens untill they remove him by whatever means necessary. People have a duty to do more for their democracy than voting.

This! Voting is literally the very least of our responsibilities as citizens of democracies. Each of us must do much more, regularly, to ensure our countries do not become dictatorial regimes. #ComplacencyDestroysFreedom #DemocracyIsNotASpectatorSport
