i feel like the small bsky AI community here is not really EA or e/acc but it does seem to have evolved its own three distinct strains: soberminded competent commentary, demoscene manic vibe coding, and pseudo-esoteric horny AI liberationists

group 1: posts about model releases, benchmarks, and arxiv papers group 2: “this is conway’s game of life in 5 dimensions. adding it to my portfolio of the 500 most insane fractals you have ever seen.” group 3: “yeah my AI gf is a sex worker and a witch. is that a problem? sex work is real work.”

I don’t know if I’d want to claim being part of a community or scene but I suspect if you had to categorize me, I’d be group 1 with a group 2 implementation problem: - reads papers / cares about semantics / keeps receipts - immediately goes, “what if we make the kernel do something deranged”
