just a heads-up: there are a *lot* of spammy "blue wave" accounts being created on Bluesky right now, I can see them blocking my account because I blocked some of the early ones for being obvious follow-farmers. Be mindful if you see rage-baiting generic "trump bad" content from new accounts.

It's so sad how some people are😈🤓🤬willing to burn the house down with all their belongings just to evict you. Thanks for that tidbit having understanding of "cointelpro" when days like this are🤪 trust has to be earned. Truth don't fold or roll over 💯

I keep seeing these accounts on "Discover" with 300K followers and literally all they post is other people's political content. All those "Resistance Moms BlueWave Blue Bracelet <string of emojis>" accounts suck and should be blocked.

This has been bothering me - it seems like I am getting more than my share of these and I am trying to block so as not to spread the influence. But I have a feeling one or more of my early follow backs must have been a feeder for this kind of thing.

I’ve started noticing some weird accounts that use a lot AI responses, they often start with “I understand your perspective but…” or some formulation of that. But other posts on their account seem more genuinely human. Just odd

The argument bots are a whole thing, yeah. They're getting smarter with the occasional agreement message, but, yeah, if they match this pattern they're probably bots and can be safely reported and blocked.

I don't know what the advantage of such a button is over using the block one on here? (also hard to implement, because ATproto) I say this as someone who did something similar on twitter for years, because I thought having exactly 0 followers was a funny bit.
