If you are a person who works in social media, and your job requires you to manage an account on Twitter/X, please ask your boss, in writing, to verify that you are required as a responsibility of your position to be on a platform that knowingly creates and monetizes child sexual abuse material …

I heard about the #Grok AI stuff, the EU sued #ElonMusk for this bullshit, I´m also on X as private user, but I never saw any of such content so far, but I use a free ad blocker anyway, and also an addon that hides AI content on Google and so on. Only not on Adobe Stock Photos, lots of AI pics...

An ultra-rich guy creates a place where his friends can go any time they want and sexually exploit children, and it's not Jeffrey Epstein. It's Elon Musk and Grok. Elon and his platform are digital Epstein and digital Epstein Island, and this is happening right now, right in front of us.

This is good. Hope someone does a thread like yours for voters to ask politicians about why they are still using Nazi Musk's Fascist Radicalization Platform and Grok AI Child and Adult Sexual Abuse Generation Platform?

* Mention that X has been banned in multiple countries over this * Ask whether your emotional or legal risks from exposure to this kind of material will be covered * Confirm that they know Musk restores the accounts of, retweets & PAYS those suspended for CSAM violations www.cnbc.com/2026/01/05/i...

You can be brief: “Hey boss, you know Musk forces his account on everyone on Twitter, and he retweets a guy who he pays to be on there who makes child porn, and who has been suspended for it before, but who Musk wanted back. Can you verify that I’m supposed to be there for when he does it again?”

More directly, “Should I forward any of the child sexual abuse material that I am forced to encounter in the course of carrying out the duties of my role to HR or legal or both, and may I CC my own legal counsel when I contact the appropriate authorities?” Raise the temperature. Make them say it.

Just heard from a smart friend who manages public-facing social for a very respected org and this exact tactic worked for them! So this approach has been effective for others for a while — it’s worth a try.

as someone who succeeded with a version of your strategy 2+ years ago (!!), every time a new scandal erupts I get to check in with our comms people and say "aren't you glad you don't need to prepare a media Q&A for this one?"

To which the boss will reply "you knew the job required using X when you accepted it". If I pushed, he would (in HR-friendly words) say "you can do your job, quit, or get fired. Let me know which one you want". Best possible outcome? Your boss thinks you're a drama queen.

Can you point to a successful civil suit that claimed that? The *internet* hosts CSAM, but if I asked my boss to sign a document admitting I might run into it while using the Internet for my job I'd be lucky of he only laughed in my face.

Thoughts on whether or not something like this would work for contacting local government agencies? (If you say try it and find out, I will! Just curious about previous experience.)

It seems that even the credit card companies have just thrown their hands up in the air and decided that CSAM is okay when Musk is the reason for it? 🤷🏿‍♀️🤷🏿‍♀️🤷🏿‍♀️ I remember Tumblr and I'm so angry

As the former CEO of a creative platform who was accountable for supporting a trust & safety team, let me tell you.
