If you need a script for getting your company off Twitter, I WROTE YOU ONE. Multiple people have used it, successfully, to explain the legal liability your company incurs by forcing employees to be on a platform with child sexual abuse material. I will help you use it. anildash.com/2026/02/23/t...

I've been a broken record on this for three years and I'll be a broken record for as long as that fucking website exists: X is a viciously racist far-right organising platform that ONLY WORKS because a huge number of centrists, lefties and progressivs cannot stop propping it up

This is the key part; make your employer verify in writing that you (or your team) are expected, as part of the duties of your job, to be exposed to child sexual abuse material. They *of course* then have to provide a method of reporting it, and resources for supporting those exposed to it.

I am not a lawyer, but I am an expert in social media, an experienced White House policy advisor on digital strategy, and an angry motherfucker who thinks the richest man in the world shouldn’t be inciting white supremacist mobs and selling kiddie porn. Because I’m normal. Is your boss normal?

Just emailing your boss, CCing the head of HR and your own personal email, and including a simple statement of the facts of what they are asking you to do by being on that platform is enough for any logical business to decide not to take the risk. If they want to be irrational, make them say it.

Tell them it's impossible to protect profit motive on a dead planet. We've reached the logical limit of what humans can extract out of a living world without the system defending itself. The economy IS shifting - either responsibly managed or leadership should work on their Mad Max outfits.

I wrote to my MP asking them to push for a UK government departure from x. I used the words "obsequiously servile" to describe Labour's relationship with musk. The MP didn't oppose the anti trans report recently released so I'm not expecting anything good from him.

Thank you for this. Can you suggest any adaptations to it that baseball fans can use with MLB and their various teams which are wholly entrenched on Twitter (and ignore us here on Bluesky)? (Or fans of any sport, for that matter.) We don't have the HR type of pull.
