Newgrounds still exists and is like you guys a nice little museum that is super important for preserving the past and the future. I honestly think that we are past a point and the whole corporate bullshit attack on the internet has failed. I might be wrong, but we survived Stalingrad

From what I know, Flash was discontinued in favour of HTML 5, since it posed too much of a security risk with no real benefit from patching it. You can still use a standalone flash player, although, web sources are unloadable, you'll have to manually download the swf file.

There are conversion software for converting Flash software into HTML5 scripting such as JavaScript or WASM.   However, there are limitations, and certain proprietary routines such as Rights Management are absent. Due to the DMCA removing said routines from the program is a crime.

It is ironic that it is easier to run old software from the 1980s than to run Flash stuff from the 2000s. I feel that Adobe let the internet down every step of the way with Flash and it's horribly unfair on the creators who invested more of their more souls into Flash than Adobe ever did.
