Here is a good example of a post from an acquaintance on my fb page. Needless to say when I asked for clarification and data there has been no reply. Don’t be bullied into a corner where you are forced to meet narratives with emotion. It’s what a bully wants

Here's a truth for them, change the rules and we will again become the best set piece team because we're smarter, we work harder, and we leaders who take every advantage. We also have Gabriel who jumps like an NBA forward.

I think Christiane Amanpour coined the term post-truth world, but maybe she just amped it. Regardless of who first said it, it’s accurate. Vibes hold more sway than facts. We all need to grow up and learn how to think for ourselves.

What's also true is that no matter how much you state the actual truth - many will just ignore it because it doesn't fit their "view of the world" - again, see also politics

It's a load of media bollocks you can watch all our goals from corners this season nothing for people to moan about, in fact I'd welcome stricter officiating because we would be scoring far more from corners tbf I wonder how they'd frame that one 😁

The other one people are bringing up is Gabriel against Emi Martinez, and people claim Big Gaby elbowed the keeper. Actual footage of that goal: Martinez misjudged the ball; Gabriel jumped, his elbow not making any real contact with the keeper, and the ball hit him and trickled into the goal.

Well said! It's not like Shay Given would have anything against us though is it?! Not like he was the goalkeeper in the 98 FA Cup final (2-1) 2015 FA Cup final (4-0) or played for Man City...🤣

He's not very good at hiding his allegiances. And look, I don't want to single him out for being dull on a show that regularly features Ashley Williams and Wayne Rooney, but God he's dull.

Absolutely spot on. Only note is that if you made the video a bit longer, you could have included the part where you correctly called Peter Schmeichel a cunt.

The most effective way we make life "horrible" for the opposition from set-pieces is the quality of the deliveries. Those in-swinging corners, at pace just under the cross bar are the real reason they are so hard to defend. Just look at the number of OG's from our corners.

Simple fact is, if this was true they would all be running so fast to post the clips 1000x over. Fact that they post still images of 1 incident tells you enough about what is actually real and what is in their heads. Sorry we are good at set pieces. Deal with it.
