If people want an AI model in their OS - fine. But I don’t. I would make no use of it, in all honesty. That Apple gouge for small SSD upgrades then force a 30gb model into your machine is exceptionally poor behaviour. Users should be able to turn off and be able to remove. End of story.

When there's no switch, people reach for rm. A supported off toggle would have cost Apple far less than a week of "how to delete Apple Intelligence" headlines, and it's safer than a script poking at system files.
