the great thing about applying for a lot of jobs is that you get to interact with a lot of workday instances, all of which are terrible. for example, this one parsed my resume and thinks my god damn name is Ryan Computing

fighting Workday is like 60% of the job application process; I have never once seen that software parse my extremely generic word document resumes in way that made sense

Kinda amazed workday don't have a "CV generator" that spits out a word doc/PDF with whatever details you put into it. Or at least a thing to embed entered form metadata into a pdf. It'd make this whole process quicker for everybody using their software.

One of the few good things about Indeed is that if you enter your information into it you can export a resume PDF that many (not *all* by a long shot, mind you) readers can handle pretty cleanly.
