I really didn't think my disgust could get any greater than what I had when he was elected but it is off the charts and climbing higher by the day.

The sad part is you have a bunch of people that willingly voted for him that are going to be shocked that there's nobody available to do the jobs they never wanted to do, but will be forced to bc of this insanity.

I think he made it pretty clear a few days after he took office that he considers /all/ undocumented immigrants to be "criminal aliens". It was obvious that that was already the viewpoint of most of his supporters, so I'm not sure why anyone would've thought he'd only deport actual criminals.

On May 16, Trump wrote on Truth Social, “THE SUPREME COURT WON’T ALLOW US TO GET CRIMINALS OUT OF OUR COUNTRY!” This is not entirely true. The Supreme Court would not stop Trump from self-deporting.

Undocumented immigration was a hot political issue when trump got elected and defeated. The Democrats did a poor job of addressing this even before the Biden re-election bust. We are witnessing the malevolent and hateful revenge of Trump and this makes everything leading to 2026 that more critical
