Aside from this being absolutely terrible prose, I don’t remember most of these orders. I also don’t remember The People complying with a damn thing, thanks to dipshits like him.

I get so tired of comparisons of the pandemic to the fuckery that is going on around us now. It's like saying "We're justified in our arson burning everything to the ground now because we had lightning-caused wildfires last year".

How come the "news" media isn't reporting this published poem as extensively as they reported the private text of a Virginia Democratic candidate?

They issued temporary public health orders to help save lives while a deadly disease we had no immunity to ravaged the country. Millions of Americans owe their lives today thanks to the people who complied. Millions of others called for violence anyway because they were too selfish to care.

It's a terrible poem but I'm reading it as comply with the government and you won't get shot, which is the theme of the current administration except sometimes you will still get shot.

If you cut out some of the dumber lines about shopping/not being "allowed" to do capitalism, this poem pretty adequately reflects what's going on now, just from the other end of the political spectrum. They ARE kidnapping and killing our neighbors. They ARE attempting to steal elections.

I have had my nose to the grindstone since I was 15. I am now 42. When they told me to stay home, I was fucking ecstatic. Easily the best 6 months of my entire life. Highly recommend. Would do it again

Not sure what “orders” hes talking about?? Still went to stores and tried to keep other people safe by social distancing but ok they were suggestions to fight a pandemic you dumb fuck why don’t you go touch a hot stove

Remember when gun owners were going to defend us against government overreach? Where are those chickenshits now? Oh, now they’re in favor of government overreach. Fascism is in fashion.

Ummm please fellow Minnesotans, don’t let this person anywhere near our government, he is uninterested in the public good and doesn’t even seem to understand that communities can take actions together with out a gun being used

My uncle didn’t stay home and went to Thanksgiving dinner with friends in 2020. He died before Christmas. But OMG, you couldn’t go to the mall?!! Fuck you.

someone remind these fools that the vast majority of the civilized world shut down in the face of the pandemic...nobody fired a shot anywhere. Also remind them Donald Trump was president and Republicans held the House.

Oooof, that's terrible. And these "orders" are a reach. However I read it to mean "people capitulated without the government even needing to use force". Should still be disqualifying, though. Unhinged, and dishonest.
