That was a rather weak duck. When confronted about support of a Dem abuser in the past don't throw out mansplaining and hide your answer. She should've succinctly expressed regret for prior support, condemned Spritzer, and throw the question back at Lawler.

Not really. The last time Elliot Spitzer was a candidate for anything was 2006, when Cait about 20 and attending West Point. Revelations about Spitzer did not become public until 2008, at which point he resigned. Other than perhaps voting for him, I don't know what support she has to regret.

Spitzer used a prostitute ring but was never charged and the characterization by Lawler is wild. The claim is that he hosted a fundraiser for her last year. She should have cleanly and easily addressed that and turned the question back to Lawler and doubled down by dragging in Trump's abuse.

Lawler would have been smart to avoid that topic altogether, or simply say that victims deserve to be heard and believed and then shut the fuck up. His need to mansplain tells you everything you need to know about his attitude toward women.

Oddly enough, a lot of candidates seem to be ignoring the pablum advice they always get from the consultants in this election. I suspect if Democrats had started going for the throat 30 years ago none of the crap we've seen would ever have happened.

Seeing as how it's on Newsmax, I seriously doubt that they allowed this to come across as a win for Conley. I assume they were asking her "When did you stop beating your spouse?" questions. "When did you take your Communist oath?"

Orthodox Jews have built many housing developments for themselves in the Catskill Mountains (vacation and some live year-round). Ther is one major hospital in the area. Because of Lawler's Republican Party's cuts to health care that hospital might close. Lawler screwing Jews and other people.

Domestic violence is a charging enhancement. Whether the charge is misdemeanor harassment, or felony assault…a DV enhancement carries heavier penalties, including lifetime loss of 2A rights, upon conviction. These aren’t “family court” matters, like divorce, custody, or child support.

For the record, Spitzer was never accused of anything non-consensual, abusive or violating the Mann Act. Lawler is being dangerously disingenuous with these claims. Also, the question is about defining consent, so fake outrage over escorts is wildly off the mark, as if any sex at all is abuse.
