@couponforpoupon.bsky.social it’s a Dem donation site that does not share contact info with the candidates, only the FEC requires data which is name and address. Has other great things to but that’s key again, app.oath.vote (it’s not an app, it’s a website)

@couponforpoupon.bsky.social I saw you asked on the Acton thread if there is a way to donate without getting hounded by the masses of candidates. No replies were possible in that thread, so I am posting here. Check out the url app.oath.vote.
@gallego.senate.gov now that it is clear that Swalwell’s behavior was an open secret for years on the Hill, why were you endorsing him so heartily until the very end?
@kirstengillibrand.bsky.social other senators seem to be out and visibly fighting the administration. You seem to just post news commentary. Is there somewhere else I should look to see what your actions are?
@piperformissouri.bsky.social is Rust Belt Rising an organization that is doing good work? Are you familiar with it?

If one of your resolutions for 2026 is becoming more engaged in your community and doing more to save democracy, now is the time to connect with your local Indivisible group: indivisible.org/groups
Disappointed to hear that @jimmykimmel.com has been touting his Spotify account. Spotify is a prime ICE recruiter. Given that Kimmel benefitted from people’s willingness to give up Disney, you would think he would “get it” and perhaps be willing to cancel his?

Based on crowd-sourced records of No Kings Day event turnout, and extrapolating for the cities where we don't have data yet, it looks like roughly 4-6 million people protested Trump across the U.S. yesterday. That's nearly 2% of the U.S. pop! Mobilized anti-Trump resistance is exceeding 2017 levels

Yes, because what's holding the US back from greatness is our lack of "wood independence". 🙄 Logging these >100 year old trees will be disastrous for climate.

Movements succeed when they have mass participation—the safer it feels for people to participate, the more likely it is the movement will succeed. Protests are helpful because they show safety in numbers. If the protests aren’t safe, people won’t show up or do other actions (like strike).
Something protesters kept telling me about the big demonstration during the first impeachment vote was that *they were pleased that it was safe.* They talked a lot about specific things they had done or how they had showed up for each other.
I have been emailing @theintercept.com for months asking to cancel. They responded once, asking for the last 5 of the CC and the last date charged. Since then - silence, but the charge continues. Do not sign up for this newsletter; no phone support, only emails that they do not respond to.
You are up to date.
