Other social media platforms (notably Twitter) being so harsh on links and implanting that behavior into people even on platforms that don't punish you for links will always annoy me that and people censoring certain words cause they're used to Twitter deboosting shit

What's wild is I'm not convinced people even know WHY they have this habit/rule of not linking things in top posts... It's officially just netiquette regardless of platform, like we've got calloused layers of algorithmic assumptions running counter to common sense posting and it pisses me off too!
