Yes, we are still getting more new cars, which is a great thing for the Bay Area and we thank all of our funding partners. BART’s legacy fleet had 775 cars. We now have 860 news cars and that number will grow to 1129.

Saw this @bart.gov car rolling through Tehachapi on the 58. Must be some kind of new BART service to Vegas.

Wait…the legacy fleet had 669. Sorry! The original new car order was 775. That is why the number was top of mind. Instead of deleting the post we are correcting here.
