That's one of those Apple things I never really understood the point of. And from the Jobs era, that's saying something.

Also due to a lack of interest by… Apple themselves. It seemed they never really adapted the platform to what artists or users asked for.

Weird, I had never heard of this before. And I had even switched over to a Mac laptop by then, so somehow I missed this entirely. I doubt I'd ever use it, but I still find it weird that Apple launched and crashed an entire social network without me even being aware.

HOT TAKE: I loved Ping, Followed some of my favorite artists and discovered gems from them.
