Walked down the street to Offset BBQ again last night. This is the first time I didn't really order any actual barbecue. There's some smoked brisket in the Brisket cheesesteak egg rolls, which were really good, and I also got their Offset Burger, which required a few napkins.

Offset Burger is: double patty, double cheddar, 1000 island, lettuce with our smoky pepper & onion mix (copied from menu). Very good, but also very messy. Brisket Philly egg rolls are a special: brisket, onions, red and green peppers, yellow + white American cheeses in crispy egg roll wrappers.

It's a weird stretch of California for sure. You probably already know this, but it's a pretty interesting fact that Offset BBQ is where the restaurant that made the first Jibarito was located.

I just looked this up and I might be wrong about the location of Borinquen which invented the Jibarito. Offset is currently in one of their locations but maybe it's not the original.
