Walked down the street to Offset BBQ again last night. This is the first time I didn't really order any actual barbecue. There's some smoked brisket in the Brisket cheesesteak egg rolls, which were really good, and I also got their Offset Burger, which required a few napkins.

Offset Burger is: double patty, double cheddar, 1000 island, lettuce with our smoky pepper & onion mix (copied from menu). Very good, but also very messy. Brisket Philly egg rolls are a special: brisket, onions, red and green peppers, yellow + white American cheeses in crispy egg roll wrappers.

This is in Chicago, fyi for all of you non-Chicagoans who like looking at photos of cheeseburgers.

used to drive past that place and wonder if it was ever open, turns out: yes
