Handwiches were invented by Magic Kingdom chefs at Walt Disney Parks in 1988 and were served there until sometime in the mid 1990s. Originally, Disney marketing materials listed ham and cheese, pulled BBQ chicken, roast beef and cheddar, and tuna salad as the original filling options.

I used store-bought rolled-up-in-a-tube pizza crust to make mine. Jim's look a bit more professional, but either way, go entertain yourself at work on a Wednesday by reading about Handwiches.

This is a good question. Also it's extremely inside sports sandwich trivia! I'd say they're pretty different inventions but a sandwich attorney might have better clarity than me.

In a better universe maybe Arby's would have invented the Handwich and we'd all be eating roast beef out of bread cones while waiting for our weekly tattoo pressings to print out at the 24 hour printer place.
