So has anybody seriously tested those ArtCraft apps - the vibe coded clones of the Adobe suite and MS Office? I looked at the Photoshop one and it seems to work better than the original, but I can't imagine After Effects being so easy to reverse-engineer. getartcraft.com/apps/

I'm sure open source developers hate this stuff but I bet many users hate Adobe more and don't care about how the sausage is made.

the hype for these is identical to the fearmongering from the larger companies, it seems unlikely that adobe will care about someone who takes on such a huge maintenence burden instead of competing via normal development like other free competitors are already doing
