Came out of a storage unit in North London where it had sat for who knows how long because it looks like it was taken out of use in 2006. It's a shame the 16712A acquisition boards have suffered with plastic rail goo rot, but I came across a pair of 16555D boards in Canada which work nicely.

The first and third of those are epic. Some proper steady hand work. Ironically I have much steadier hands now than I had back when my eyes still worked.

Wow, that brings back memories... Even back then, I couldn't really see what I was working on.. but I could just about make out what way a component was pointing, so all was good.. These days with my old man eyes, varifocals, magnification etc.. I'll pass! 🥸

Particularly when it worked :D

When I do stuff like that I usually end up saying, "Hey, where'd that resistor go?"
