I had such a great day at Crash Live today. So many lovely people to meet. Probably the highlight was meeting @balford.bsky.social who I kept calling Brian! He was so gracious he just ignored my senility and we had a lovely chat. What a legend! Also we appear to be twins!

Off to Coventry tonight. Hotel start and then tomorrow Crash Live! Will be my first one and I'm really looking forward to it.

I took some of last year’s RetroFest exhibits to show - Sinclair QL with Schön keyboard and my CST Thor - along with something I’ve never seen at any retro event, the Mancomp replacement keyboard for the ZX Spectrum. Sometimes I really enjoy leaving positive, constructive comments on YouTube videos. Creating any longform video is, at minimum, hours of work. Why not make the creator feel good that they tried? It takes hardly any time out of my day, and it might make theirs.

FluxCaster build thread! It's a self contained Bluetooth cassette adapter specifically for loading games on to older systems. It's got a Schmitt trigger onboard to tidy up incoming data, will pause automatically for the C64 and has some other bells and whistles. 🤓
